The most horrible Chinese food me and my husband ever had. Don't go near the restaurant. Not even eatable food and a horrible service.
Our experience: An awfully, rude woman "welcomed" us and started complaining about our stroller. I moved it kindly and suddenly another waiter showed up. I asked the waiter more then once what dishes would fit us best and which dishes are the most popular. He did not have any direct answers so we ordered what we thought sounded nicest. But we said that we wanted everything at the same time and the chips as soon as possible since our oldest (1,5y/o) was hungry.
My husband had to go to the nearest ATM since they only took cash. In the meantime me and my two babies sat and waited and nothing arrived, not even the drinks. We were sweating and the babies started crying. Then the woman came back and asked me to make them quiet. I was choked but did not respond.
My husband arrived at the same time as the starters, even though we asked for everything at the same time. To be honest it was ok, a 3 out of 10. Two different soups, chips and spring rolls.
We sat and waited for at least 10 min after we finished until someone came out to the terrace and then we had to say that we wanted the headmeal.
I was feeding our youngest and did not se when the waiter placed the food on the table, I just heard my husband say, "What is this, what did you order, didn't you order seafood? when i looked every single plate looked like different kind of vomit. And honestly, it tasted more horrible and that. Something in between several years old canned food, canned catfood and old sour milk......
I can be picky, but my husband eats everything. Even he could not swallow.
So we told the waiter and he just said, "okej, thank you", and went away. My husband tried to eat but could not in any way. I was mortified.
When the waiter came out again we told him that we wanted a solution for everything and did not get any reapons so we asked for the check and to speak with his boss.
He was really uncomfortable and both me and my husband could see that he almost was afraid to tell his boss.
The lady came out and started yelling rudely on me at the same time as she was serving another couple their drinks....
I tried to ask her for a solution, but she was just snapping, and lied about being an translator and not the boss. She did not even looked me in the eye, just said that it was not her fault that we ordered the wrong type of dishes.
To end this, since I am getting chills just from writing, my husband just paid so we could get out of there. With out plates almost not touched, two hungry children and a bill...
Read moreFirst, let me start by saying that I violated my personal cardinal rule against dining out in Asian restaurants in Croatia. I’ve never had a good experience, but tonight I had this overwhelming urge for Asian food. I’m glad I broke my rule — it was one of the best Chinese meals I’ve ever had. Granted, I’m basing this judgment on just one meal, but it was very good. If you don’t mind spicy food (not overpowering, just spicy), I recommend the dish known as Osam Blaga (Eight Treasures). The meat and vegetable ingredients are very standard, but the sauce is exceptional. I also had a warm appetizer of pan-fried dumplings stuffed with meat and cabbage, which was also very tasty. The waitress, who happens to be the chef’s daughter, was very kind and gracious, as was the young man who actually served me the meal. The price was a bit more than I’ve grown accustomed to (22€), but it’s now the reality that comes with switching to the Euro as your currency. And finally, an observation… as I sat and perused the menu, a group of Chinese tourists left the restaurant after dining and boarded their tour bus. A little later as I enjoyed my meal, another tour bus arrived and emptied its load of — yes, you guessed it — Chinese tourists. You can draw your own conclusions, but for me it’s always been a very encouraging sign to see a Chinese restaurant filled with...
Read moreGood value for money and food is good enough in that prices comparing to other restaurants next door. Two times we ordered chicken with cashew nuts and chicken with peanuts. Two doses were big enough to share with three people. Seemed like chicken with cashew nuts is served with frozen carrot and pea bites, which is interesting, and didn't actually add any value or flavour to the food.
The service was excellent, thank you for that. At the first time we were served very quickly (even thougt it was a full restaurant) and the waiter did good recommendations. Two days later we went to order a table again and the waiter remembered my name so that was impressive. 😊 Second time we waited food 50 min with no apologies but after checking reviews that might be rare thing to happen.
I highly recommend this place for the sake of service, athmosphere and prices, table reservation recommended, since it might be full...
