Green Garden House — Hotel in Općina Plitvička Jezera

The place was perfect – quiet, comfortable, and well maintained. The parking is safe and convenient, which made our stay stress-free. The staff are exceptionally kind and professional, always ready to help with a smile.

The garden is beautiful, and we really enjoyed being able to eat just outside our room. The staff served us there in a very polite and gentle way, which made the experience even more special. Dinner was much better than expected, a real highlight of our stay.

Breakfast, however, could be improved – especially in terms of quality and variety, considering the €15 per person charge, which is similar to many other hotels.

On arrival, the staff immediately provided us with detailed information about visiting the lakes, which was very helpful.

Nice hotel in beautiful surroundings. Great location at the opposite end of the park from where the mass tourists arrive. We stayed in a 4-person apartment in one of the renovated original buildings and found everything to be in great condition - except for the wifi that was practically non-existing in the room.

Tip for visiting the park: get your park entry pass the day before (the hotel can help) and go real early (6-7am) or late in the afternoon (after 4pm). Located in the Countryside approx. 500 m from a secluded entrance to Plitvice lakes National Park, however they don’t sell tickets at this entrance which means you have to buy the tickets from one of the main entrances. We had a comfortable spacious rustic apartment & the included breakfast was very good. The evening meal was good but expensive for the area €20. A delightful secluded location with very friendly and helpful staff and if you like the countryside and peace and quiet give it a go.
