Guesthouse Kajfes — Hotel in Općina Plitvička Jezera

Stayed for 2 nights in this budgetfriendly Guesthouse. Only a 5 minute drive to entrance 2 of the NP and 7 minutes from entrance 1. The owner is very friendly and helpful, as almost all Croatians working in the tourism-industry. Stayed alone in double room so had plenty of space. Room and bathroom were clean. ||Wireless Internet is available but reception is poor in the rooms. Outside however it is ok. There are some picknicktables to sit next to the parkingspace. ||Breakfast is provided at additional cost (€6) and more than sufficient for such a small guesthouse. ||Although major creditcards are accepted the owner prefers payment in cash...

Stayed here for one night purely to put us close to the Plitvice lakes. The place is very clean, conformable and only a short drive away from the lakes entrance 2. ||||Breakfast was great, European style with hams, cheeses and bread with eggs if we desired - exactly what is needed before walking in the national park.||||One of the hosts (younger girl) spoke good English and showed us maps of the different park trails and helped with dinner suggestions. We stayed two nights here (Oct1&2, 2017). Friendly host allowed us to use her kitchen to prepare our own food; she also provided laundry services for a small fee. We also arranged for our host to provide breakfast which has a lot of choices. She was very gracious to offer coffee free of charge to some of us.|Rooms are clean, comfortable and with free WIFI and LCD satellite TV.
