Guesthouse Marton — Hotel in Općina Plitvička Jezera

It's a small accommodation with only two rooms which have a shared balcony... But the rooms are a really good size with a good bathroom! We were fortunate that the couple in the other room were lovely and we ended up drinking together on the balcony. The owner was SOOOOOPO lovely! He took us wherever we wanted to go, picked us up, told us bus times etc. the house is slightly out of the busier part, but if really really loved that. It was beautiful, peaceful, comfortable and a fantastic man who owned it. I fell in love with this place! Definitely...

Although the house was quite a lot further away from the bus stop and supermarket than advertised, the owners were happy to drive us to and from the lakes and even to the shop, which made our stay very easy. Most plitvice visitors travel by car, but backpacking was no trouble at this guesthouse. The owners don't speak brilliant English but still managed to be incredibly helpful and sweet. Room had a lovely, clean and modern ensuite. Bed was comfy and obviously it was a quite night. Nice shared balcony and average...

Small but comfortable room with a comfy bed and a shared kitchen. The room we stayed in was upstairs (the stairs are steep!) and it also had a nice little deck area (we didn't use it since it was raining off and on but in season it would be great!). It's close to park entrances 1 and 2. And the hosts were also very nice. Would stay again if in the area. Tip: the sign outside doesn't note the name "Guesthouse Marton". Just look for #34...
