We booked a ‘deluxe studio’ for 2 nights. When I made the booking, I specifically asked for a baby cot and a quiet room as we needed to put our 11-month-old baby to sleep relatively early. They lady I spoke to assured me of this and made the reservation for me by email. We were given a room right next to the pool facing the road on the ground floor. The room number was 008 to be specific. The room layout was quite nice and modern although the one thing that immediately was evident was the loud music that could be heard in the room from the pool area speakers. We did not consider this as issue being that it was only 5pm when we checked in and had assumed that the music would have been turned off by night time. It is after all a hotel not a pool bar/club. Little did we know that this was not the case….. Fast forward, 4-5 hours later, the music was still very loud with several guests at the pool area drinking, playing card games and generally being very loud. It was not possible for us to sleep. We managed to put the baby to sleep but she kept waking up from the noise. At 10pm I went to the reception to ask what time the music would be turned off. They said to me that they would turn it off in about 30 mins. They music was lowered but they only switched it off at 10:45 which is when we managed to go to sleep. At midnight we were awaken by very loud music from the pool area. This time it was even louder than before. I got up and went to reception to ask why the music was turned on at midnight and to complain that we could not sleep. The man at reception said to me that he would speak with the bar man at the pool about the music but could not guarantee to me that the music would be turned off. I was shocked to get such a response and started to question whether we booked to stay at a hotel or a pool bar/club. The music continued up to about 3am which is when we managed to get some sleep. To add to this, the constant bikes, quad bikes and cars racing up the adjacent road did not help in getting much sleep. We slept 1-2 hours at best. Not a great sign for a “hotel”. We complained the next day about the noise and asked whether we could get another room for our 2nd night. The hotel managed mentioned that they were fully booked but would look into this for us and let us know but could not guarantee anything. He also mentioned the hotel was allowed to keep the music on until 11am. I was taken aback from this response and asked him whether they are running a ‘hotel’ or a ‘poolbar/club’. Not a great response from a hotel manager. Obviously, no concern for their guests sleep or wellbeing. We waited for almost 3 hours for them to tell us if they were able to change us the room. We did not get even a courtesy call to say whether a room was available or not so we decided to leave. Paid for 2 nights but only stayed one and not even a single mention of a refund for the one night from management not least an apology. The only thing we wanted, being that we also had a 11-month-old baby, was to get a quiet night’s sleep. Something which comes as a given when you check into a hotel (and not a pool bar). If you want to party until late into the hours next to the hotel pool without much sleep, then Cosmo Napa is the place for you. If not, then stay away from this place. If I could give this place 0...

Horrible Hygiene, Unkept Promises – Avoid This Hotel

We stayed at Cosmo Napa Boutique Hotel in Ayia Napa in late March/ early April as a group of six. We had booked the hotel well in advance, and everything looked perfect on Booking.com—nice photos, good reviews. But our actual experience was a complete disaster.

When we arrived, the staff were friendly and the hotel looked stylish on the surface. However, the problems began the moment we entered our rooms.

In my bed, I found what looked like dried mucus or nasal residue—yes, you read that right. Someone clearly used the bed before me, and it hadn’t been properly cleaned. I immediately asked for the sheets to be changed. The maid arrived visibly angry, questioned me, and only reluctantly changed the bedding.

That same evening, my friends discovered bloodstains on their bed sheets. Again, we contacted reception, but it was late and the maid was unavailable. The receptionist (the only helpful person that night) tried to give us spare bedding, but it was old, dirty, and seemed reused. Eventually, she offered to move us to another room—but even that room had filthy sheets. One more room had visible insects, and when we showed her, she became visibly frustrated, as if we were causing trouble by expecting basic hygiene.

At around 11 p.m., we spoke with the hotel manager, who admitted things had gone wrong and promised a full refund if we stayed the night and left in the morning. We agreed.

But the next day, the manager never showed up. The receptionist gave us a printed cancellation/refund confirmation, and they canceled the booking themselves. We were told to wait a few days for the refund.

Now it’s been months, and despite repeated emails, messages, and follow-ups with both the hotel and Booking.com, we still haven’t received a single cent.

This wasn’t just one mistake—it was a pattern of poor hygiene, unprofessionalism, and lack of accountability. I’m writing this review to warn others, especially groups and women travellers:

This is just reply for the hotels response.

Thank you for your response.

However, as of today — the end of July 2025 — none of the six guests in our group have received any refund, despite your claim that it was processed on June 3 via Expedia.

We have checked thoroughly with our banks and Expedia, and there is no record of the refunded amount reaching us. If you received confirmation from Expedia, then we kindly ask that you share this documentation with us immediately, along with any reference number or proof of transaction.

Please understand: this issue is not resolved until the funds are actually received. A refund confirmation email does not replace the refund itself.

We urge you to follow up properly with Expedia and ensure the payment reaches us. Until then, we will continue sharing our honest experience with other travellers, as this situation has been unnecessarily delayed for months.

We look forward to a real...

1st: The pictures shown in the listing are very misleading. All the rooms seem HUGE, sparkling clean and new. What we got was a small hole with barely any room to move around, let alone open 2 luggage bags in the room. Very uncomfortable. They said that the square meters of each room are stated in the listings. However, NONE of the images showed the room we got, even when we were booking it, we were shown COMPLETELY different pictures.

2nd: Cleanliness: the room was not very clean once we checked in. There was some hair in the shower, stains all over and the cap of the handwash bottle was very dirty, almost muddy.

3rd: The sheets of the bed were torn on the upper right side. I don't know why someone would use TORN sheets instead of replacing with new ones. This alone shows a lot.

4th: Another issue with the sheets - we wanted to change the sheets day by day, just for hygienic reasons, but also because they were not clean from the start. The answer we got was that sheets are changed every 3 days. We stayed 3 nights and never got new sheets.

5th: The room was not properly maintained. The shower head and pipings were rusty and unclean. Some points in the room were very dirty full of red rust.

6th: Terrible room service. We gave in our bath towels and hand/face towels to be replaced and only received back one set of bath towels, nothing else for hands/face/bathroom.

7th: When we asked from room service to bring us the other sets of towels, the room service lady knocked twice. Note that at that moment, me and my fiance were naked, trying to enter in the shower. After room service knocked twice, and before I even got to the door, SHE OPENED THE DOOR TO LET HERSELF IN. While we were inside. Naked. This was unacceptable.

8th: Found a tiny baby cockroach creeping up the wall from behind of the head of the bed. Disturbing image. I can't imagine from where that little roach hatched and how many more were there.

9th: After all our complaints, nothing was done by the management. The complaints were pointed out by noon of the second day. No actions from their part in order to rectify the situation, or do anything at all about it. They just listened to us, nodded their heads, as if it was out of their control. They only replied about the cockraches that "Well, that's normal, they are everywhere, we also have them in our houses".

10th: Parking: As soon as we checked in, we asked where there was available parking. They said there was a parking space a few meters above the hotel. We went where they told us, but it was a very difficult, uneven field full of white dust and huge steps of rocks which makes it REALLY hard for lower cars to drive there, as the car's bottom hits all over. There was another public parking available a few meters over, and a few parking spaces in front of the hotel in the main road, but there were hundreds of buggies all over the places parked in the most annoying...

Would’ve given this place 0 stars if I could. Unfortunately stayed here in June earlier this year and they stole from us because they clearly don’t have much going for themselves. They took my friends AirPods but once they found out we were able to track them and see where they were (they were at the back of the hotel on the map may I add) they put them back in the room when we were all at the reception area making a complaint. They targeted my room because it was easier to get into because it was just a key card and not a physical key. May I also add that the safe in our room was conveniently broken so we couldn’t put our belonging in the safe. The rooms SMELT SO BAD I can’t emphasis how bad they smelt. They smelt of damp, and rubbish the hotel staff only came to clean our room once and that’s when the stole from us, lovely stuff. The Avoid this place like the plague, I would’ve rather slept on the streets for a week. Pictures below are of us talking to the ‘police’ who didn’t really care xxx
