On arrival late at night we were greeted by a large bald headed security guard with all the staff having gone home, probably because their laptops needed charging after using them whilst sat at reception during the day. The security guard spoke about four words in English and had no idea how to use the machine to copy key cards. This was highlighted after on the fifth attempt of using a card to get into our room failed he let us in with a master card. Needing to go out and meet up with friends we had to leave the hotel that evening with no keycard to get into the room but the guard assured us in broken English that he'd let us into the room later as he'd be at reception all night. Not true. By coincidence we bumped into the security guard at the "nightclub" next door and had to ask him to let us back into our room. ||||Day 2 began with keycard gate continuing with the eastern European receptionist. She was probably the least helpful person imaginable but we still managed to get her to copy us a keycard, which again didn't work despite getting her to recopy it about five times. Que Wipey shirt man. Sorry I mean the caretaker. This guy basically brought a machine to our room to reset the code in the door, which didn't work. He tried to fix the machine by persistently wiping it on his shirt, putting it back in again and on it not working repeating the process all over again. After about 40 minutes of the staff fudging about we finally had a working door key. This came at a price, as for the rest of the week the female receptionist quite simply became even less helpful, if it was even possible to be. When we came to checking out and asking where the transfer bus would pick us up from, she just shrugged her shoulders and bobbed her head towards the front door. Her ignoring us would have been more useful. ||||Okay so on to the finer points. A mate and I came to this hotel so we could be walking distance from a close friends hotel where they were getting married. We chose this hotel because it was the cheapest nearby hotel. The rooms are a good size for two people (we stayed in a one bedroom apartment) and to be fair they are kept clean and fresh towels brought every day. The staff are completely useless and couldn't give a care about anything. The night porter is always asleep and doesn't speak english. ||||Whilst the area is lively at night, this also means that unless you are bladdered upon going to bed, admittedly like we were almost every night, don't expect a good nights sleep. You'll have to sleep through scooters and cars flashing past and the rattling air con units. Or perhaps some smashed up northerners trying to get into your room, and repeatedly putting their cards in your door before realising they have the wrong room. ||||I can't comment on the pool because each day we went to our friends hotel down the strip by the beach which was lovely. Our pool looked like you should probably not bother. The surrounding poolside area that I saw looked dusty and surrounded by homeless cats. the only people I saw laying by the pool were old overweight cypriate women who I don't think were even staying at the hotel. ||||In short, come to this hotel if you will be spending little time there and will be returning home so drunk that you won't notice the noise at night. If you are coming here with your other half, don't. She will resent you forever for putting her through such a terrible time. If you are two blokes, coming for a mates wedding and just need somewhere to crash each night after drinking too much and will be leaving each day as soon as you get up to go and enjoy another friends hotel, then this place will...
Read moreWe were misled by the pictures posted on the website. When we went to the place we were asked to take pictures of our id and passport and send them to an email and when we asked “how do we know that our information is not going to get leaked?” the answer we got is “yeah i understand “ and then we were told it’s for the immigration department. The lobby looks nothing like the pictures,it’s empty and dirty and there was a kid licking or doing something next to the window when we were walking in.There were kids running around without parents and people being loud.We gave it the benefit of the doubt and continued on.After we were checked in we were led to the room 602 and in the way there we saw drawing on the walls with pens and pencils that looked like done by kids obviously no one cared to get rid of them. After a few attempts from the receptionist to open the door (the card didn’t work at first and the door had problems closing and opening and he excused it by “oh it’s just the paint there”) we walked into the room and it was nothing like what we saw in the pictures. The bathroom was old,the tiles were worn out ,the desk was old and beaten up with peeling wood .After we complained about the condition of the room and that we wanted to cancel the attitude of the receptionist completely changed. He started being rude and after calling his boss twice and downplaying our complaints he was given the option to show us other rooms or for us to wait for their decision that could take up to 12 hours on whether or not we could get a free cancellation. While showing us the other room that we’re in even worse conditions with some of them having more drawings on the bed frames and walls. There was also a dead cockroach in the hallway. We asked to just give us the number for his boss so we could talk to him personally and we were told “He has other things to do he doesn’t have time for that” and after talking to him more the receptionist told us “I have other things to do i don’t have time for you”.After my boyfriend started to be overwhelmed my the whole situation he started having an anxiety attack and asked for water from the receptionist and he declined,we went outside but after 30 minutes of him ignoring us we went in one more time to ask if we’d get a response soon and with complete negligence he told us we have to wait 12 hours and he didn’t want to...

Honestly, I would have loved to see a review like the one below before making the reservation. Believe me when I say there are true hotels nearby for the same value of money.
This is by far the most disgusting lodging place I have ever been. It's not a hotel to begin with, as this creepy place doesn't even reach the lowest level of hostel.
My experience: we arrived at the reception and the receptionist was attending other people at the same time as us and sometimes he didn't even listen to what I was saying.
Right after he wanted to charge me the money for the stay when it had already been paid more than a month ago...
The man gave us the room card and didn't explain how to get there or even accompany us. Obviously we get lost and he had to come and guide us right after.
We managed to get to the room (which was in an annex building) after going through a way that clearly wasn't prepared for someone with physical disabilities, with several stairs, a swimming pool and no elevator. The building smelled musty and, when opening the room door what we found was worthy of a horror movie.
The room at first seemed clean but little by little we looked at the details:
❌ Trying to turn on the air conditioning with the command, we realized it didn't worked when it was clearly summer and the command worked apparently...
❌ The bed seemed to have just a single white cover, there was only one pillow (when we were 2 people) and it didn't even have a cover!
❌ In the bathroom, the shower was broken, literally the water didn't come out of the shower when we turned on the tap.
❌ Also, when we opened the closet we realized that there was a dirty towel hanging on it. We didn't even had new towels!
After the scenario we witnessed, I can safely say that there was no kind of cleaning service that came through that room.
Just after seeing all that mess, we called Booking to cancel our reservation and leave this place of hell immediately.
Luckily, we managed to get a reservation in another hotel much better organized, clean, with all the comforts for our stay in Ayia Napa for the same price.
Honestly I would be ashamed to call this disgusting place a "hotel" when it didn't reach the basics to have a shower of sleep. What a...
