If hell had a physical form, it would be this accommodation. Our experience here was honestly one of the worst we’ve ever had, and the following words are strictly my personal opinion. Let me be clear: there aren’t enough negative stars to describe the disgust we felt. I’ll try to keep it as civil as possible, but this place was a disgrace to Cypriot tourism. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had disturbed the ants in their natural home — they were EVERYWHERE: on the floor, on the walls, even next to my pillow. The air conditioning was a bad joke: it kept turning off by itself and would not turn back on unless you physically unplugged and plugged it back in. You basically needed an electrical engineering degree to use it.Humidity was all over the place – walls, ceiling… and eventually your soul. The “locking system” of the front door was laughable. Even with the key inside, it could be opened from the outside. Safety = ZERO.As for housekeeping, we repeatedly asked the reception NOT to have anyone enter our apartment — neither while we were inside nor when we were out. And yet, every single morning, the cleaner just walked in. No knock, no permission. Just walked in like she owned the place. The sheets were stained, with marks I’d rather not know the origin of. And when I tried to lift the top sheet to sit on the bed, the entire base came undone. Absolutely unacceptable. The sofas were so uncomfortable, it felt like your own body was trying to eject itself. Definitely not what you want when you’re on holiday to relax.Noise was constant, all day long — it felt like we were staying in a hostel above a car garage. And now the highlight: upon arrival, we found a used toothbrush cap on the bathroom floor, behind the door. We hadn’t even opened our suitcases yet, so it clearly wasn’t ours. The reception’s response? “Maybe it fell from the cleaning lady.” Really? From where? Because her cleaning cart couldn’t even fit up the narrow stairs to the upper floor. The apartment wasn’t clean, not even a little bit. It was cleaned just enough “for the mother-in-law to see,” as we say. The decorative pillows smelled awful, like a wet dog had hugged them.Although the listing claimed it was a proper apartment, there wasn’t even a single plate. Not one piece of cutlery. We had more equipment on a camping trip. The only thing provided was a kettle that looked like it came out of an archaeological site. The so-called “breakfast” was an insult to the word meal. Poor quality, tasteless, no variety, and no care.We asked for a double bed and got two singles pretending to be together, separating every time we moved. They claim to provide “free toiletries,” but there wasn’t even hand soap in the bathroom. Also, worth mentioning — they gave us our room an hour after the official check-in time, while other couples and families who arrived much later than us were handed their keys immediately. The only two positive things were the polite girl working at the mini market and the quiet beach nearby. If you’re thinking of booking this place, do yourself a favor and DON’T. Save your money, your dignity, and your vacation. This place is a sad leftover from the 1980s, and it should seriously reconsider calling itself a hospitality...
Read moreWe stayed at this hotel for one week as a family with small children. I’d like to share our impressions, starting with the positive points:
Pros: Excellent location – close to the sea and with convenient road access, especially for those traveling by car. Very quiet, which was extremely important for us as a family with kids. Good daily selection of meat and fish. Some staff members were genuinely friendly and always ready to help. A nice all-inclusive offer: hearty snacks where you could choose pasta, salad, or a burger; drinks were also plentiful.
Cons: We booked a renovated two-level room but were given a two-room unit with old furniture and an unpleasant smell. Some of the furniture was broken, especially the sofas where the children had to sleep, which felt unsafe and uncomfortable. Room cleaning needs serious improvement: some days there were not enough towels, the situation didn’t change until I went to reception, and on another day our room wasn’t cleaned at all. Even worse, staff sometimes entered the apartment without knocking, using their key, which was very uncomfortable and felt unsafe. For a 3★ hotel it might be acceptable, but still disappointing. A few staff members laughed when I made a mistake in English or showed an annoyed expression. Not everyone, but enough to make ordering drinks uncomfortable. It’s impossible to safely keep the windows open at night for ventilation—especially on the ground floor—as there are no stoppers and anyone could potentially enter. Very limited fruit selection: melon every single day, with other fruits served only about three times during the entire week. There are no children’s activities or animators, so families with young kids might find it a bit boring.
Overall: The vacation was a solid “3+” experience. It was generally fine, but far from truly comfortable. The hotel has potential, but there is definitely room for...
Read moreWe stayed at an apartment maisonette in this hotel for five days, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. While the location of the hotel/apartments is undeniably excellent—just a short walk from the beach—the overall quality of our stay was severely lacking.||||To begin with, the apartment was extremely basic in terms of facilities. There was no soap or hair dryer provided, and the condition of the bathroom was unacceptable. The bathroom was dirty, with visible stains, peeling paint, and a toilet seat that was old and worn out. To make matters worse, the towels provided by the hotel had an unpleasant odor. ||||Our concerns extended beyond cleanliness. On the first day, the cleaning staff left our ground-floor apartment unlocked, which was incredibly unsettling. Although nothing was stolen, this level of carelessness is inexcusable. When we attempted to address these issues, the staff at the reception could not communicate in English, making it impossible to resolve our complaints.||||The quality of the mattresses was another major issue; they were uncomfortable and made for restless nights. The breakfast offered was equally disappointing, lacking in variety and quality. Additionally, the air conditioning unit was difficult to regulate and very noisy, making it challenging to maintain a comfortable temperature in the apartment.||||Further to the above the wifi signal was poor and there was not a lifeguard available at the hotel pool. ||||In summary, despite the convenient location near the beach, the numerous issues we encountered during our stay make it impossible for us to recommend this hotel. We strongly advise potential guests to avoid this property by all means. There are surely better options in the area that offer a more pleasant and...
