Speedy gonzales mexican — Restaurant in Paralimni

We recently dined at Speedy Gonzales Restaurant in Pernera, and it was a delightful experience! The moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the host, which set the tone for a great evening. The service was excellent—attentive and friendly throughout.

The food was quite good, with a nice variety of Mexican dishes. While I personally could have used a bit more spice in some of the dishes, the flavors were still enjoyable, and it’s clear they cater to a wide range of tastes. The main dish was well presented and tasted nicely, was genereously sized and the service was fantastic. Dessert was nothing special, I would have preferred a flan but it is not on the menu, unfortunately. However, despite all the positives, I will not return. Neither of the two in our dining party felt well afterwards, with the worst effect the next morning. I suspect it was the nachos, which came as an appetizer and the serving was huge. They were accompanied with a cream salsa, which tasted OK and very bland tomato salsa...

Been coming here since 2009’ missed 3 years through Covid though and first time back last night’ food here is amazing staff are really nice and it’s a great atmosphere’ bouncy castle for kids’ and it’s priced really good’ we stop in protaras and it’s a nice walk there down beach path so if your stopping in protaras still make a visit you won’t be disappointed.
