Kamara Boutique Cottages — Hotel in Peyia

The apartment is well-equipped (full kitchen, washing machine, smart TV, WiFi even though not top-notch, but okay) and in total provided good value for money (end of season). However future guests should be aware of the following facts: The apartment is located in a quiet part of Peyia which is generally nice but it’s also quite remote if you choose not to rent a car. While there is a bus stop to Coral Bay down the road, during our very recent stay it was not served but one had to walk to Peyia square and the schedule was reduced as well. Supermarket (Philippos) is nearby however. The owners were extremely friendly but the agency (or at least our location manager) was not very hospitable and seemed annoyed by my questions regarding check-in and the wrongly scheduled mid-stay clean. When the compound (3 apts.) is fully booked, it may lack privacy if that’s important for you. The location pin provided on Airbnb leads to the wrong road. Better use this...

One of the best guest houses we have stayed in. We stayed in the Katoi guest house for 3 weeks. The bed is the comfiest bed we have ever slept in. The beams and the arch give lovely character to it. The amenities are top notch. Fully functioning kitchen, wifi, washing machine, tv with every streaming service, the shower pressure is pretty good. The location is fantastic. Close to tavernas, food shopping etc. 8 minute drive to the beach. There was a space to park our car. The pool is stunning. It has views over the town and Coral Bay and is surrounded by greenery. A quiet and cozy place. The apartment has everything you need, and the terrace with a sea view is wonderful — in the evenings the starry sky is breathtaking. Both the apartment and the grounds are very clean. The only minor downside is parking: there are two spaces for three apartments, and one of them is awkward since it blocks a neighbor’s exit. Still, it’s easy to find parking on the nearby streets. Communication with the on-site manager was excellent — all questions were handled immediately. Communication with the booking department, however, was very slow, as emails and messages went unanswered. There’s definitely room for improvement...
