The Mediterranean - Cafe bar — Restaurant in Peyia

The best meal I've had in Cyprus this vacation! Owner/hostess is so welcoming, the atmosphere chilled & relaxed. Started with complimentary salad (big enough for 2) and went for the day's special: charcoal BBQ baby chicken, which came with aubergine, poblano pepper, mushroom & potatoes. Absolutely devine! Washed down with a bottle of keo. Unfortunately, no room for dessert but a goodbye double shot of Bailey's did the trick. Dinner for 2 with drinks = 34 euros. Will definitely be back...

The owner Dimitra is a wonderful host and puts her heart into her cooking. The restaurant is beautiful and has many of Dimitra's (nature inspired) artworks on display. (Also small gallery next door). I had aphrodites seafood spaghetti, it was delicious. My friend had beef Stefano which was melt in the mouth also amazing. I had a great experience here. Thankyou Dimitra it was such a pleasure to meet you, I hope to come back...

We arrived just prior to Sunday lunch time yet we were received so hospitably by our hostess who was in the midst of barbecuing for an exp-ected Sunday lunch crowd. She embraced us (literally) and soon brought out traditional kleftika and delicious accompaniments. It was first class and if we lived closer we would dine there often - such is their hospitality at very reasonable price....
