A True Taste of CyprusWe had an absolutely wonderful experience at Geitonia Traditional Kebab House. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were dining in a charming taverna in Greece. The food was nothing short of spectacular—truly authentic traditional Greek dishes that were bursting with flavor. Every bite was a culinary delight, from the perfectly grilled Halloumi to the Chicken Kebab and Sheftalia. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and you could tell each dish was made with care and were very large.Beyond the amazing food, the staff made our evening unforgettable. Everyone was so friendly and genuinely attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Our server, was especially fantastic, and offered great recommendations and a warm smile. Bad experience! The shots " from home” was included in the bill!!! And the waiter lied that they only accept cash. We had to withdraw money from an ATM with a huge commission. Spoiler alert: In the end, they didn't change the invoice, so we paid for the “gift”. The food was ok, but the portions are quite small for the money compared to other taverns nearby. For the first time in Cyprus, we were treated so badly. We love Cyprus and know the hospitality of the locals, unfortunately, this tavern does not have it. Right around the corner there is a beautiful tavern where you can feel at home and there you will definitely not be deceived! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!
