Pension Hardy — Hotel in okres Břeclav

We have stayed in Hardy this summer and we can just recommend the place. It is located just few minutes of walk to castle in Valtice. Restaurants and shops are also just few steps from the pension.|Pension as such is clean very nice and it feels homey there. We were welcomed by manager in the hotel by glass of good rose wine, he showed us around entire property - cognac private rooms, little "storage" room with all the goodies for eating. You can even borrow scooters to get around. Breakfast near the front desk area was sufficient and very good. Outside the pension is a sitting area where there is grill "party" organized sometimes by the staff. Staff in general was very very friendly and nice. Their service and attitude make you remember this hotel for long time. Rooms are nicely furnished, modern with wooden features, very clean. In summer days airconditioning in the rooms under the roof comes very handy (and watch out with your head when standing up :)) as this is a wine area of Czech republic, the wine is also part of the fridge/mini bar in the rooms+next to the front desk there is a big fridge with wine and anytime during day or night you can simply help yourself to bottle of wine and then just simply say at the check out which wine you had and they will add it to your bill.|I highly recommend this beautiful and friendly place. I also hope to stay there...

We stayed for 3 nights at Hardy Cognac & Pension in the triple room with terrace. It has a queen size bed, plus a twin bed, and then a lovely terrace. It was a bit too hot for us to use the terrace much, but I bet in spring & fall the terrace is lovely. There's also a patio open to all guests, that is also nice (we ate our breakfast there each morning). The room was immaculately clean, bed was comfortable, and bathroom was good sized (especially once we discovered the large drawer under the sink for storing toiletries). Be advised this is an upstairs room--so it has stairs to access it and the ceiling is at an angle which takes a little getting used to so that you don't bump your head. The staff who work there were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect--just a short walk to the town square and Valtice Chateau. Breakfast was included, and was nice with eggs, sausages, veggies, yogurt, ham and cheeses, and breads available. Try the jams--they appear to be homemade. Overall, if we make it back to Valtice (and I hope we do), we plan to stay again at Hardy...

We were a couple on a weekend getaway, and this was just the place. The facilities are new, up-to-date and the staff is very friendly. Being used to wine tastings, the cognac tasting was a nice change, the owner was very knowledgeable. The room we stayed in had its windows facing the street (I suppose it was one of the cheaper ones). It wasn't a problem since we stayed off-season, but I guess the traffic can get quite busy during the summer. The yard is very nicely equipped as well as the bar :) All in all, we were made to feel right at home. The facility can also be used for a small conference/meeting.
