Penzion U sv. Urbana — Hotel in okres Břeclav

A clean and comfortable pension, close to the centre of Mikulov. Free wifi - it didn't reach our bedroom, but others in our group had no problem.||||Breakfast is a bit basic, the tea is undrinkable, but if you take your own teabags, they will supply hot water. The coffee was excellent. We were not offered eggs, but got them on request.||The rooms are fine.||||Opposite is the Hotel Galant, which is excellent for wine tasting, and at the bottom of the street is Vinarna U Hroznu, which has a very pleasant terrace, good food, and cheap local wine.||||We also liked the Cafe Barta, which is in the centre and has good views from the roof terrace. The hotel is just a few steps away from the historic center of Mikulov. The location is great and the place is quiet. The room was basic, but tastefully decorated and clean. The price is fair.||||Only the beds were a little hard and not very comfortable. The hotel is supposed to accept credit card, but the lady at reception was not capable to process the payment on the machine, so we had to pay in cash. Just an hour later we used our credit card to pay our meals at a local restaurant. So we recommend that the staff at this hotel get better training on how to process credit card payments, and not ask guests to...
