We reserved a two-night stay in a superior room at this hotel so we could easily travel to the Bohemian Switzerland National Park. The initial welcome was very warm. We drop our bags in the room and went out to visit the surroundings and have dinner. Once back, we found that there was no shower in the room. Only a bath with a hose that did not transform in a shower (as a result, you put water everywhere in the bathroom). I went to the reception and the girl at the desk told us she couldn’t do anything until the day staff the next day. However, she gave me the key of another room so we could use the shower and take the towel so I could dry our bathroom floor but we couldn’t transfer in that room. Unsure why..
In the morning, I went to the reception to explain our problem. The guy from the previous day wasn’t speaking English anymore and the girl next to him seemed to not care at all. I would avoid this hotel if you aren’t speaking Czech or German as they seem to have something against English speakers.

Read moreI previously stayed at this hotel and had a good experience. I was here for work the first time and found the hotel to be just right for price and location. Coming back a second time I brought my wife for a vacation. She has never traveled abroad and I wanted her to have the best experience. Unfortunately the staff chose to put us in the farthest away room with the view of scaffolding and construction going on right out our window. When asked for a change of room I was told none were available, sorry, sorry, and sorry.||||The room was booked months in advance. I verified the reservation a week before arrival. Did they inform me that this was what I would be paying for? Nope. Did they offer a discount? Nope. Did they really care? Yeah nope.||||At least when I travel here for business or pleasure again I know to now stay here. Really crapped on part of...
Read moreThis is a good central hotel and very near bus stops, the river and Decin Castle. We stayed three nights and deliberately booked a a large suite just in case the weather was poor. It was actually very hot when we arrived and thankfully there was a very efficient fan next to the large comfortable bed. Our room was extremely comfortable and very good value compared to other hotels in our own country. The breakfast is adequate but nothing to make a fuss over in these comments. The adjacent Taj Mahal restaurant is very good and we ate dinner here twice. We also ate dinner at nearby Arrigo which was...
