hotel Gradl — Hotel in okres Klatovy

I stayed for a week as part of my school's School in Nature week. The hotel is a typical pension style countryside hotel. It is well maintained and comfortable. The sports facilities, for playing football, basketball and volleyball are excellent, very modern. The pool is also very new and very clean.||||The staff were excellent throughout our stay which included 38 very excited and loud school kids and 5 weary teachers! One evening they even lent us their own DVD player when we couldn't attach a laptop to the television.||||The food was good, generally simple Czech style meals. Understandably when feeding a large group of children.||||The town is about a 15/20 minute walk away and the hotel in located in the middle of a large forest with some beautiful walks and in a beautiful part of the country.||||If would recommend this hotel for accommodating such a school trip, or for groups interested in hiking and enjoying the countryside.||||It is not a luxury hotel, but it is clean and comfortable with good facilities, and in that regard for what it is compared with similar hotels in that range, it fully deserves the top rating on trip...

Wunderschöne Lage im Wald etwas oberhalb von Zelezna Ruda, ein Fußweg führt direkt hinunter zum Kneipptretbecken und in den Ort. Auch Wanderwegs starten hier, man ist sofort in der herrlichen böhmischen Natur! Die Zimmer sind etwas klein, aber sehr sauber und richtig gemütlich . Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt! Die Betreiber und Angestellten sind SEHR freundlich und hilfsbereit, man fühlt sich als Gast willkommen. Parkplätze sind vor Ort in ausreichender Zahl vorhanden. Mein eBike konnte ich völlig unkompliziert im Flur abstellen und dort auch aufladen. Zum Frühstück wird ein liebevoll angerichteter Wurst/Käse/Ei Teller serviert, am Buffet gibt es dann noch süsse Sachen nach Belieben. Abendbrot wird den Hausgästen ebenso angeboten, schmeckte mir immer sehr gut und war äusserst preiswert. Dazu wird im Ort gebrautes Bier serviert. Aktuell wird das Hotel saniert, während meines Besuchs verschwand jedoch das Aussengerüst und das Gebäude erstrahlt nun in neuem hellen Glanz.

Da ich ein wenig tschechisch spreche, war die Verständigung sehr gut, aber dem Vernehmen nach spricht man hier auch etwas deutsch und so sollte man in jedem Fall klarkommen.

Ich kann das Hotel Gradl empfehlen und komme gern einmal wieder! Děkuji za...

Na Grádl jezdím již od dětství a patří mezi mé srdeční záležitosti. Současní majitelé odvedli obrovský kus práce, aby znovu zprovoznili místo, které během porevolučních změn skončilo v havarijním stavu. Objekt, sloužící za minulého režimu podnikové rekreaci klatovského Kozaku, se dnes opět hrdě hlásí k svému původnímu jménu a účelu. Najdete ho asi 1,5 km od Železné Rudy, tak trochu „na samotě u lesa“ :-), který zde zastupuje nádherná šumavská příroda. Na své si přijdou vášniví houbaři a sběrači dalších plodin, hlavně borůvek. Od hotelu vedou turistické, lyžařské i cyklostezky. V posledních letech se na Grádl opět několikrát ročně vracím, naposledy minulý týden. Moc děkuji celému personálu hotelu za milý a usměvavý přístup, vzornou péči o mou maličkost po všech stránkách, včetně plnění drobných osobních přání, báječné jídlo s bonusem houbových chuťovek při poslední večeři, výborné železnorudské pivo, u mě zvítězila medová třináctka, zvaná Pašerák. Pohlazení Jeho Veličenstvu Matýskovi von Grádl Prvnímu, neb bez něj by to už nebylo úplně ono. Přeji hodně spokojených zákazníků a těším se někdy příště...
