Penzion Alpský Dům — Hotel in okres Klatovy

It's a nice enough place, the staff are friendly and the location is great. The apartment was roomy and airy with a lot of beds - there were 6 of us but you could probably sleep up to 10 (but there's only 1 toilet!) - and a serviceable kitchenette.

However, there were quite a few downsides. For starters, we were only provided with one small towel per person, there wasn't even an extra towel to dry hands on in the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, the shower wasn't clean and leaked all over the floor, so we had to use one of those precious towels on the floor! The bedclothes were pretty rough as well - the pillows were like a sack of lumpy potatoes!

...but I won't go into detail about all the annoying little things like toilet paper holder placement and nowhere to put the soap in the shower...

And then there's the breakfast - I mean, it was OK, but the coffee was instant (!!!) the eggs were far too salty and the selection was extremely limited (and the same every day). It was all fairly cheap, low quality fare.

And please, turn the TV off at breakfast!!!

So it is receiving 2 stars because of the situations in rooms. Rooms for the price are big, that is for sure. Heating was set to 5, and we were freezing at night, and early in the morning, heaters were hot for a bit, and then Luke warm again. Matrices were hard as a rock, + the pillows gave us back pain. The room was somewhat clean except the shower , which hadn't been touched at least for a couple of days. There was no water cooker, some cups and glasses pan, and 2 pots, a microwave, and an electrical oven. Service was fine, with no real complaints there. Payment is only accepted in cash, and you can ask for a receipt. Location is good not far from the city center and near skie slope. The price was good for...

Hodnocení pobytu: Předem upozorňuji zájemce o tento hotel, že při dřívějším v řádu cca o hodinu, příjezdu do hotelu, majitelka bude vyžadovat poplatek ve výši cca 300 Kč. Recepce v hotelu není, tak prosim ji ani nehledejte. 🙂. Vybavení hotelu, žádná sláva, nábytek z dob komunistů. Zničené, některé kousky už něco zažily, špinavé. Majitelka dává hostům dost najevo, že je panem domu. Je to zbytečné. Akorát dává najevo svoji neprofesionální nevědomost v oblasti služeb. Hned požadovala uhradit platbu za ubytování. Záloha za klíče 500 Kč vás nemine. Pokoj na první pohled čistý. Matrace tvrdé, bez roštu, postele nejsou vhodné ke spaní. V pokojích byly těžké zátěžové koberce, které nebyly zrovna k pokožce nohou příjemné. Navíc zatuchajici. Nestačili jsme pokoje větrat. Televize pouze v jedné místnosti. O kuchyňské lince se raději nebudu ani zmiňovat. Pobyt jsme měli bez stravy. Na obrázku hotelu je tak vše super, ale realita je jiná. Výběr hotelu byl na poslední chvíli, proto tak to i vypadá. V okolí jsou lepší hotely a levnější. Je na každém, jak se rozhodnete, ale za sebe,... děkuji, už ne. Přikládám fotografie.
