Cute little hotel just at the edge of the Jewish Quarter and the pedestrian zone, perfectly located, far better than any hotel on the main square which is not so pretty. Large comfortable rooms, ours (no 14) was really huge and nicely decorated with a view on the inner courtyard - which is nicer and more quiet than the view on the parking lot. Lovely staff at the hotel (a bit less lovely in the restaurant). The lack of A/C in our room did not bother us, the thick walls of the old house keep the heat out (and it was really hot outside). A free bottle of water and juice was much appreciated. Nice food in the restaurant downstairs which seems to be very popular among locals, so reservation is recommended. Public parking for a small fee just outside the hotel. Very handy. Read moreI was only the guest of the restaurant, not the hotel. It was really nice and cozy - it has tables both inside and outside. The service is really nice and welcoming. The selection of dishes is quite OK. However, every dish was good but also every one was missing something. The garlic soup could have been more spicy, the french fries were a bit too oily, and the knedliky was quite unusual, not the regular ones that I have had in different Czech restaurants. This place definitely has a nice atmosphere and friendly service, and the food was OK but not perfect. I really recommend the cucumber lemonade, though -...
Read moreGreat friendly staff. Reservation system had some technical issue, but Daniel showed us to our rooms so we wouldn't have to wait and we registered afterwards. He was very helpful and made phone calls in Czech for us. The 2 double rooms I booked were large, attractive and warm, with 2 floors even. Breakfast was simple but good and plentiful with a friendly lady who offered to make us more eggs if we wanted (pastries, cheese, ham, spreads, fruit, cereal and hot sausages and fried eggs). Good location to explore Trebic on foot near the Jewish quarter, galleries...
