Habitat 16 — Hotel in Prague

Ok so this is a bit weird that I am writing a review here because I didn't actually stay here because our plans changed (that was my fault, not hotel's). But I am writing just to let others know that the parking is not free at this hotel. The hotel listing in google says it's "free parking" (I just double checked to be sure), but it actually isn't. After booking, you will be notified that that the parking is paid. The cost is very minimal, so it's ok honestly, but I would hope the owner fixes the information on google if possible. It's good to know it beforehand, then be told later.

(I took the effort to write this review because I got burned by the misleading free parking at another hotel. So I just want to inform others to be aware that the parking is not free at this hotel either).

Update: I can't reply to owner's reply so I am writing the reply as an update to the review. Hi owner, I can delete my review once the information is google is fixed. Is that something doable from your side? As of now, I see it still shows as free parking. I honestly don't know how much control google provides to you to update it. I am hoping you are able to correct it.

Please note that, I (and possible many others) use Google's hotel view to do all the basic research and then navigate to whatever site google mentions to book from. In this case, that was booking.com. But after looking in detail at Google, it's easy to skip reading the entire details again on booking.com. In Google, I usually apply the "free parking" filter so that makes it really easy. Anyways, since you mention that the info is correct in booking.com, I assume your intent is good, and it was probably just a oversight. I will delete this once I see it...

All is automatic. No reception. You get in by code that you receive during order. ||Room is clean and newly equipped. Especially I loved floor heating in bathroom. There is thermostat to set temperature in Celsius :) Not just some vague hot/cold. Also there is shared kitchen available with fridge where is one slot assigned for your room and all is well labeled. In the room is hair dryer and clothing iron with manual :) There is also cooling fan. ||they provide normal small soap and small shampoo. It is great because I hate when I do not get soap but only some shower gel... Shower gel just does not un-grease...||Also we found 2 times 3 different tea bags and sugar and cream and tea kettle. There is also TV and some Prague guides. ||There is many restaurants in 5-15 minut walk distance (around subway stop)||Place is off the main road so it is quiet. Only in night with open window you can hear some farther main road. ||It is 10 or 15 minutes far from subway stop. And from subway it is 15 minutes to city center.||And for that price I wold call it best hotel ever.||Of course it has wifi. And it was rather stable. Although once the signal was weaker.||One drawback was that bath tub on our room was really small. And bath plug was missing. But we manage to have a bath anyway...||And there are umbrellas in kitchen to borrow. I would definitely stay there again. Especially I love not meeting any ppl on...

Wonderful small cozy place in a great quite location. It's a bit far from all the hustle and bustle of the center and i prefer such places. The room was not too big but had all the facilities and amenities (hangers, pressing iron, hair dryer, shower gel, soaps etc.) There was also hot kettle, some tea and honey etc. The bed was really comfortable and clean. A common kitchen and a small garden/lawn at rear completed what this facility had to offer.

We found parking easy on the street and facility administrator helped us book it in advance before our arrival against a reasonable payment of around 3.9 euro per day. The checkin process was easy as it is contactless and all you gotta do is enter the access code which unlocks main door and your own room door.

We did find the stairs a bit steep and tricky in the building. Also there is no lift presumably in the building so those who struggle with stairs - watch out before booking as this place may not be for you. The locality is also serene and calm, just not any major supermarkets in immediate viccinity. But i would definitely choose this place again if i visit Prague again. The price we paid and service we got was very satisfactory and I'd give 10/10 to staying...
