I've spent there whole week during my trip to Prague. Tne place is really nice, but they should make sure that bathrooms are clean (there were a lot of girls from kind od handball team, so girls bathroom were sometimes...disappointing, let's say. Also in kitchen not all the stuff was working properly (broken plate in microwave made it impossible to use...). That disadvandtages should not scare you! The place is really nice and quiet (but remember, to have to get to the hotel- its only 280m, but quite high and tiring, espacially with luggage...) and poeple working there are extremely nice and helpful. Also prices are really reasonable. You canget to the city centre by piblic transport- it's pretty cheap and comfortable, we had no problems with getting to all important places in Prague and we spent no more than 30 minutes in buses and trams, so connection is really good.||Rooms are small, but comfortable, with big wardrobe where we had no problems (3 people) to put whole the stuff we took to our one-week-trip.||||To sum up, if you want to stay in Prageu in some cheap but nice place, you don't need to get close to the "night life" and your main purpose is to go sightseeing as much as possible, just like we did, that seems to be...
Read moreA friend and I stayed her for NYE for 3 nights. We didn’t’ want to stay here but all of the other hotels were booked. It’s very clean and the staff is friendly but it’s quite far from civilization. It’s about a 15 minute commute to the metro by bus and walking. Which is fine if you’re only going out for the day and don’t plan on coming back until you’re done for the day. The beds were very springy and the room was freezing. Luckily they gave us a personal heater for the room. Make sure you take a shower before everyone else because the water heater can only handle so many people. *the worst part is when we got there they told us that the credit card machine didn’t work and that it wouldn’t be working our entire stay and we had to pay cash. I would recommend staying somewhere else – there’s cheaper...
Read moreClean and light rooms, very helpful staff, comfortable beds and good breakfast. In sunny weather, very nice roof space overlooking the woods, or outside at the front. Easy walk about six minutes downhill to Podbaba stop (trams 5 and 8, or a number of buses), or when you come back if you don't want to walk uphill, walk down from from U mateje (Bus 131) stop through wooded lane, about ten minutes. I have stayed here several times and would recommend to anyone - though if you have difficulty walking you would need a car. Excellent lunch and evening meal if you walk up to U mateje at Stara Fara or other restaurants. Supermarkets both by Podbaba and...
