Complete and total disappointment!
Bread served before appetizer was stale and hard. Shopsky salad was wet, soggy and old. The Ribeye steak looked like a piece of rubber and upon inspecting found out it was rotting. The smell was horrible.
At this point we called the waiter over to send it back. Next thing you know we have a disgruntled and hostile chef at our table being disrespectful toward my mother inlaw. Arguing tellling us we do not know what we are talking about. Excuse me? Let me tell you we are from San Franciso sitting here with our family from Prague and you want to tell us what a steak is? What a joke. Do you know California? San Francsico? Do you understand the culinary world that we come from? Apparently not because otherwise you would keep your mouth quiet and stay in the back where you belong.
I decided I was no longer eating anything else. Next thing you know I catch the chef giving me a look from the corner of his eye and laughing and shaking his head at me. Basically this person was a perfect example of a poor human being and somebody who should not be in customer service let alone cooking food for the public. He was obviously very happy to send us on our way with a belly full of rotten meat. Thank God we know what we’re doing and didn’t eat it.
Mr Chef you are a nobody. You will continue to be a nobody. Hopefully you reflect on your actions and make a change for the better. I will pray for you.

Read moreI'm not sure why there are any bad reviews for this place. We are staying in the wonderful hotel so it made sense to try this out on our first night. Wow! The food they are delivering was way higher end than how I was dressed. This was white table cloth plating and top quality food where you want to dress up to compete with the food! After the cream of mushroom soup starter, we knew the chefs knew what they were doing. The duck, red cabbage, gravy, & dumplings was absolutely delicous. Full of flavor and seasoned well. The salmon & fennel risotto was perfectly cooked and luscious. Service throughout was very good. The creme brulee was delicous. The only issue was the brulee wasn't done all the way around, so you got a lot of sugar topping. This is usually why it's done in an oval half ramaken to really get the most surface area carmalized and it just makes it easier to reach the sugar. The prices were reasonable given the quality and preparation....
