I can heartily recommend this hotel to everyone. First and foremost, a sincere thank you to the entire staff.
I had the pleasure of speaking with Miss Elizabeth P. at the reception, who was incredibly kind and helpful from the very first minute of our stay. She provided detailed information about public transport to the city center, sold us tickets, and was also instrumental in booking tickets for a boat trip. As the saying goes, "A good hotel provides what you ask for, but a great hotel anticipates your needs." This perfectly describes Miss Elizabeth's exceptional service.
The hotel itself is superbly comfortable, remarkably quiet, and impeccably clean, offering a peaceful retreat away from the city's bustling center. It's an ideal place to recharge after a long day of sightseeing. Furthermore, the breakfasts are delicious, featuring a wide range of very tasty dishes.
Its location is highly convenient, being approximately 8 minutes to a tram stop and about 10 minutes to a metro station. Tram number 20 will take you near the famous bridges in roughly 15 minutes, and the metro provides an 8-minute ride to the center of Prague, close to Charles Bridge. Additionally, a Billa supermarket is conveniently located near the tram station, offering a variety of goods at reasonable prices.
Should I return to Prague, I will definitely choose the same Silenzio Hotel, with high hopes of experiencing the same professional care provided by Miss Elizabeth P.

Read moreThe girl in the reception who was working lastnight is very rude and uncomfortable in person and should not at all being in the front, answering and helping guests who are arriving late, and werent supposed to be there at all. I wrote a review last night and she attacked me in the lobby when she saw what I wrote, truth hurts but if you are going to work in this business you really have to be kind and not show people/costumers the annoy you.. that would be a great start. I see I'mnot the only one who is experiencing the lobbyrudeness when Í read reviews. Room was good though but this things lastnight make be just forget the good things. So the answer from you 'Dagmar' is more rude then the girl in the lobby, this is not right that I was angry at the airport, yes I did get a sandwich and she was not happy with that request but did it anyway in a bad mood, like we were interupting her, cameras dosent show how people talk thats why you dont see anything. Yes I did remember the roomnumber.. we were eating breakfast and you couldnt let us alone while we were eating.. RUDE! if you continue to talk to people like you do Dagmar! you will not get happy costumers.. simple, you have to do EVERYTHING you can to make them satisfied and thats not what you are doing! WoW Im happy that we dont have to go back...
Read moreSpent 3 nights at Hotel Silenzio which I had chosen in advance because of the fact that you could park your car for free (did not used my car during these days), while at a number of other hotels you had to park your car along the street or in a parking garage. The hotel itself is ok and located in a quiet area, the rooms are equipped with the usual amenities such as air conditioning (of which you could asked at the reception to set it at a lower temperature as well 😁), sitting area, TV etc. The bathroom was spacious enough with a large sink and a bath/shower. Only a pity was that the shower head was hung very low, which meant that tall people, like myself, had to shower with the shower head in your hand, a bit uncomfortable to be honest...but hey, you can't have it all 😁. Breakfast was ok, not really extensive, I would call it simple, but that was my opinion. The hotel was located about 6 minutes walk from public transport and tram 20 took you straight to the center. So that was easy, at the reception you could also buy tickets for public transport a day ticket for 24 hours cost 120 Kč p.p. converted +/- Euro 5 p.p. so a fair price. Overall...
