I recently stayed at Brik from October 12 to October 17, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. Upon checking in, I was horrified by the state of cleanliness. The dishes in the kitchen were filthy, and the knives hanging on display were no better. I’ve attached photos to support my claims—this level of dirt is unacceptable for any hotel. Additionally the shower design was a disaster, leaking water everywhere despite using multiple towels. We never received the promised doormats and rejected their “free cleaning” offer although they stated there was nothing they could do about the shower as we didn’t want anyone entering which “they respected”. They didn’t respect it enough though as they sent an unsolicited maintenance guy who didn’t even help or whoever left more towels and stuff in our room. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was for the advertised free parking. When I inquired about it, the staff claimed it was a “bug in the system.” This falsehood significantly impacted my decision to stay here especially given the inflated prices compared to nearby options. The bottle of wine they offered as compensation was a poor gesture, especially after receiving such dismissive responses. We left it untouched. Another major issue was the unreliable Wi-Fi. We switched rooms due to connectivity problems and even though it worked for a short time it failed again on our last night. I estimate we lost at least 20 hours of internet access during our stay and that’s only while we were in the room. Again staff gave us emails on “how to fix the problem”, which did not actually aid at all. Instead of taking accountability, the staff argued and offered solutions that didn’t address the issues at hand. The see through doors on the bottom floor added to the discomfort making privacy a concern. I left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. A partial refund seems reasonable given the discrepancies between what was promised and what was delivered but they refused and instead let me dispute it. It’s hard to believe that Brik would claim my next stay would be better when this one was such a disaster. Avoid Brik if you value cleanliness, honest advertising, and basic...
Read moreBrik Apartment Hotel was the perfect choice for our 2 nights stay in Copenhagen for 2 adults, 1 baby and 1 child. I liked very much from the moment of booking their internal system built for check in and to order additional services. Very user friendly. We had a 1 bedroom apartment, which we found it comfortable and really clean on the moment of arrival plus fully equipped. Many times when we travel and book this time of apartments, a small detail, something is missing from kitchen tools. Here I cannot say that, as they had everything. The apartment position is 5 minutes from the main metro route City Center - Airport so easy access to anywhere you need. As there is no physical reception, I appreciated also that during our stay somebody called to check if everything is in order. So they care about the details. Only minus I would say is that the block doesn’t have elevator. When traveling with big luggages for some this maybe a challenge, but there are only 2 floors, so a little bit of sport doesn’t do bad to anybody. Again, really happy I found this hotel, I would recommend it and book it again when we will come back to CPH. Thank you and all the...
Read moreThis was such a great find. Stayed here for a week and found the room and the service to be very good. The room was nice, clean and functional. The washer and dryer were a welcome surprise and came in handy in a pinch. At one point, we requested for a replenishment of supplies and they arrived quickly with an added high touch surfaces clean from the service personnel (Rabina was warm, friendly, efficient and a good representative of the establishment). Check in and check out were a breeze. The location is just a few kilometers away from the city centre which can have its advantages and drawbacks. Regardless, going to the city centre is just a couple of Metro stops away so you can still be part of the action but you can also steal away to the quiet of the suburbs when you've had enough of the constant racket of downtown CPH. It's also just steps away from pretty decent eateries/cafes and most importantly, from 365 and Kvickly, where you can get groceries that you will need as a reprieve from the high cost of eating out in this very expensive city. Adored this apt hotel, the city, the country...
