Hotel is actually really nice, Metro station (Lergravsparken station) is maybe 7 minutes by walking. Near hotel (3 min max) are 2 food stores (Fakta & Kvickly) and farmacy is next to them. Hotel room is really small & they don’t have a wardrobe at all. Someone said that is cold next to the window when it’s closed and that is really true. Cleaning service is not really good, we had to complain to the reception because they didn’t clean well (usually we don’t mind that much BUT!) - they didn’t entered the bathroom at all (dirty towells were still on the floor, trash was not empty, mirror was dirty). They just made bed & took trash from other trash can. Also, after 5 days, they didn’t change the bedsheets so we removed it by ourself to get a new one. Vacuuming was something that they did every 3rd day (and the room was every day full of my hair on the floor😂or sand from the shoes because you don’t have a space for shoes.. so we needed vacuuming every day. They were comming every day verry late but that was not a problem for us(maybe that’s important for someone). The reception is really nice & friendly. For that situation, they offered us a new room but we didn’t want to move (like I said, it was not a big deal - we just needed empty trash and fresh towels every day) so they gave us a new towels. The breakfast was really nice, classic things - fruits, yoghurt, eggs, salami, cheese, coffee, juice etc. The beach is maybe 10 minutes by walking. Also, take your own shampoo because they don’t change it at all, even when it’s almost empty & it is really hard to press it because the “bottle” is not working good.

The hotel is excellent and conveniently located within walking distance of the metro station, which allows you to reach the city center within 20-25mins. The area is safe, with two supermarkets and a nearby bakery. The front desk staff is friendly and the hotel provides laundry services, coffee/tea/snacks for purchase at non-exorbitant prices. Although my room was compact (no refrigerator, no microwave), it was suitable for a solo traveler. They have a hot water dispensing machine and a shared microwave near the reception area. One aspect that could be improved is if they could vacuum or sweep the floor every couple of days, as I noticed dirt accumulating over time.

A great little hotel in a convenient location, the rooms are a bit small but cozy. The staff there was amazing! Shout out to Nadia who helped me sort out the luggage storing issues and saved us a lot of time! One suggestion to management is please fix your laundry room service, add more washers and dryers to the room (you have space there) or get a better unit. I spent 12 hours trying to wash and dry one load of laundry and for people who are traveling, it’s ridiculous! I would pay more to have a better unit to save time than waking up at 3 AM to check if the clothes are dry. The demand is there, therefore, the ROI is there as well.

There is literally no walking space when walking into the room, just enough to get around the bed. Walking into the bathroom it was very dirty and unsanitary with hairs behind the toilet and mold in the shower. When I went to shower and finished, I wanted to use the towels that were hanged, the hanger that was in the wall fell out- After that I wanted to dry my hair, the dryer worked for 2 seconds then I heard a click within the dryer and left it alone since I did not want it to explode in my hand. Went to the bed, sat down, and wanted to turn the lamp and adjust it it literally almost fell off, I tried the other side of the bed same thing, left it and reported all the problems in the morning which were fixed later that day but again someone should have inspected the room prior to our arrival. But what was nerve-wracking is that the receptionist at the time hasn't offered any solution to the problems in terms of upgrades/switching rooms/ freebies etc... and don't let me start on freebies... i work in a hotel myself and we have and offer a bunch of free stuff if guests complain or there are so many problems and catastrophes in one room. We switch the room and give a guest like a "apology freebie". Howerver that wasn't the case in this hotel as you have to pay for literally everything even the smallest things such as leaving ur luggage for couple of hours there where hotels will normally keep it for free. The room was also next to the elevator and it was very loud and we would hear everything. For me overall bad review is so many bad things happened at once that it has resulted me to give such...

I made a reservation at Go Hotel City in Copenhagen for May 27–29, but unfortunately, due to a serious family matter beyond my control, I needed to move my stay a few days earlier, to May 22–24. I contacted the hotel shortly after realizing the issue — more than a month in advance — and explained the situation.

I understand that I had selected a non-refundable rate and that the terms stated that the dates couldn’t be changed. That was my mistake, and I take full responsibility for it. However, I wasn’t asking for a refund — I simply wanted to adjust the reservation. I was even willing to pay any additional costs involved, and my new dates would have added an extra day to the stay.

Despite this, the hotel refused to accommodate the change, citing policy. The most frustrating part is that the hotel still had availability for the new dates I requested. I truly wanted to stay at this hotel, and it’s incredibly disappointing that they wouldn’t consider my situation, even with ample notice and my willingness to pay more.

Now, I’ll have to pay for another hotel and lose the money from this one — but I won’t be giving them my money twice. This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied and genuinely shocked at the lack of empathy and customer care.

If you’re planning to book here, make absolutely sure your plans are final — and hope no unforeseen situation arises, because this hotel will not show any flexibility, no matter how reasonable or respectful...
