Very authentic feel and there was a great buzz inside and outside (it was a warm sunny weekday evening). Staff were very friendly. I ordered Tonkotsu Ramen 🍜and fried chicken side 🍗. Ramen was underwhelming, there was not enough broth, the broth was weak in flavour and there were too many noodles, of which were very basic (like you might buy in the supermarket), I added some chilli paste 🌶️ which improved things. The chashu pork was nice and tender but the ramen was sided with sweetcorn which didn't go well. Tamago egg 🥚 also had room for improvement, yolk was slightly overcooked and didn't have that nice sweet umami taste I've had elsewhere. Previously, the service provided by the Japanese lady always made us return with joy. However, the Japanese waiter this time was simply rude and unpleasant. The way he spoke to us, looked at us, and served us left much to be desired and, honestly, prompts me to look for another place for my future Ramen cravings. It’s a shame, because the food itself is good, but only if you have someone to discuss with to make a...
