B&B by the Sea Hirtshals — Hotel in Hjørring Municipality

My husband and 2 teenagers needed to get out and see some new surroundings during this Covid lockdown. We decided to take a little trip to Hirtshals and found a great deal here with a 2 bedroom B&B with a little living room area. Majestic sea view from the living room and 1 of the bedrooms . There is a common kitchen with everything you need to prepare food, and a beautifully decorated common eating area with panoramic view over the sea. Great base to explore the surrounding nature. 100m to the waterbeach and 50m to nearest guided walking paths including one which lead around many WWII bunkers. The included Breakfast service is closed due to Covid but it was no problem getting good quality ready prepared food from the local supermarket which could be warmed up in the kitchen. Great deal right now if you are looking to relieve your Covid anxiety and enjoy the fresh west wind. Will definitely come back to enjoy this great little pearl when the days are lighter and the Covid restrictions are lifted. Hosts are super nice with lots of tips...

Stayed here in the large 5 bed room with family. The room had lots of space with 3 separate sleeping areas.||The host was kind, informative, and even helped carry our luggage to the room when we checked in.||Location is excellent, located directly across the road from the beach. There is free parking and the lot is reserved for guests of the B&B. The WWII bunkers and the lighthouse are within walking distance. The ferry is close by and took us only 5 minutes to get there from the B&B by car.||Sleep quality was good. This area seems to have a constant breeze and was nice to fall asleep to the white noise of the wind and sea. We didn't hear any noise from other guests.||Breakfast was good. I wasn't able to try the local schnapps offered at breakfast though next time I will if not driving.||Shower space was tight but got the job done.||Overall we had a great time, and would definitely stay here again if ever back...

My partner and I arrived at the BnB By the Sea at the end of a long day on bicycles, trains and ferries, and were so happy to find that the BnB lived up to the great reviews! The rooms were clean and coze, there was safe space to lock our bikes, the view to the sunset was wonderful, and the warm and friendly hosts helpfully pointed out the self-service soda-and-beer fridge. We ended what had been a long and demanding day in the best way possible - with cold beers and a beautiful sunset.
