Peak Hotel Viborg, observation during our 4 days stay March 2025.||I stayed at PEAK Hotel for 4 days.||Conclusion/Rating is that I will never stay here in the future. ||As seen on TV there has been doubts whether there was an architect involved in the hotel´s exterior.||I am now sure, that there has not been an architect involved in the hotel’s interior, or any professional hotel manager involved in the room planning.||There is nothing in the room apart from 4 hangers on a wall knob and a little desk 40x60 cm.||No drawers or shelves. When you unpack your suitcase, you have to leave your clothes on the floor, What a mess.||Shower is 70x70 cm, very small with soap standing on a small corner shelf, which easily falls down during taking the shower.||Toilet paper very thin layer, the cheapest you can find.||Worst is that to watch television, you must scan codes on the TV, input codes to link to your phone, and subscribe to accounts on any TV channels, you want to watch, even DR 1 and 2. The codes are not saved on the phone, so you have to repeat every time you open the big screen. Understand the hotel has not subscribed to any tv channel to save money. First time I come to a hotel and have help to watch TV. Very annoying and irritating.||If you are an elderly person without a smartphone, you are lost.||The hotel is proud to be green||However, when guests leave the room during day, light, television and other electric consuming appliances are still on and consuming electricity. There is no electrical slot to insert your room card to turn on electricity (like in all other newer hotels.)||No safety, any person walking in at the hotel can take the lift to the room floors and search if there is something they can steal, if a door is unlocked etc.||My stay was a bad, irritating experience. Read moreDefinitely "unique". Wrong room - in a cheaper class than already paid. No rooms without carpet exist, althought I have explicitly asked in advance. I'm only slightly allergic but had major issues in the morning.
Anyway, it took almost 30 minutes to "find" another room in a hotel with 150 rooms.
In any reasonable hotel you would have been offered a complimentary drink while having to wait for half an hour. At least you would have been asked if you wanted something to drink - complimentary or not - for example by the barkeeper having nothing else to do than decluttering bottles.
I would really like to know if this is the understanding of hospitality of the Bühlmann Family. This is hospitality basics when operating a hotel.
Very loud ventilation system, that I only managed to silence by turning off the main switch for the entire room. One of the few rooms with a connection door, making it additionallly loud. why renting out such rooms when the hotel is obviously very slightly booked?
Given the glorious reviews of the breakfast, it was highly disappointing. IMO it was not worth it.

En hel masse initiativer for at spare og være grønnere. ||Havde booking på en pakke med drink og snack.||Ved ankomst var det temmeligt svært at finde omtalte P-kælder. Man skal igennem den "port" som er lige ved indgangen, der mangler simpelthen et skilt med "P-kælder hotel". Det kunne de godt sætte op! ||Absolut plus for en meget venlig og kompetent modtagelse. Og for at vi måtte skifte værelse. Vi havde fået på 3 sal hvor udsigten stort set er en sort mur. Det er her de separate senge er. Undgå det!||Vi fik vores drinks samme eftermiddag. Det er lidt et minus at man ikke selv kan vælge her. Det SKAL være fastlagte drinks de bestemmer. Det havde ikke kostet ekstra at man selv kunne vælge en drink. ||Fik drinks med på tagterrassen, som ganske rigtigt har enestående udsigt. Man kan ikke selv gå derop, personalet skal åbne for adgang. Og der er kun åbent til kl 22 da 9 og 10 etage er luksuslejligheder for private. Lidt sært. |Den bar som nævnes i brochuren (bilen) er ikke åben. Og ligner ikke den rigtigt bruges.||Værelset er OK indrettet, selvom der er nærmest ingen fralægningsplads. Bøjler er af pap, sjov ide. Badeværelset har bruser med lukbar dør så det ikke sprøjter overalt. Godt.||Et minus for at værelset har en blæser der bare kører konstant. De der "fælles klimasystemer" er bare trælse. De larmer og virker generelt dårligt. Vinduerne på værelset kan næsten ikke åbnes. Kunne man ikke lave sikring på en bedre måde ?||STORT minus for valg af TV som "casting only"! Det er simpelthen for AirBNB-agtigt at forlange kunder skal caste alt, eller SKAL logge ind på DRs sider. Bare fordi man vil spare et TV-anlæg. Selv det mest lousy discounthotel har DRs kanaler plus lidt tyske. Hint: når man caster bliver lyden forsinket. Det fungerer simpelthen ikke. ||Også et stort minus for at ting som er gratis andre steder koster (dyrt) her. Kaffe ? 50 kr for en simpel americano. På zleep-in er det gratis og på værelset. Tænker at rummene er betalt, man kunne sagtens få adgang til en simpel kaffeautomat som gæst. ||Cykler havde været lækkert, men også her koster ting dyrt. 60 kr/time for at låne en cykel. Det kunne have været gratis og med turforslag til f.eks. butikker, ting at besøge mv. Så får alle lidt business.||Morgenmaden er god...
