Here are the good: The hotel is well located near many of the main sights. The room was clean and spacious with a nice view of the plaza below. The shower had hot water and great water pressure.
Here are the bad: During one night there was loud talking/singing/music at 3 am during the night. I don't know if it was another guest, but the staff did nothing about the noise. Generally unfriendly and unmotivated staff (except one gentleman) When leaving the hotel, you need to give up your room key. We had a long travel day behind us and our motivation to change the hotel at our arrival during the late evening, without having had a meal since the early morning was low.
They kept telling us to cancel our booking and get a room which would cost double the price. But their policy didn't allow us to cancel, nor would there have been a refund. After a long time of unpleasant arguing with the receptionist we opted to take a room of lower value but had to pay the price as was set in booking. A really bad experience.

The toilet paper was only located outside the toilet, so you had to calculate how much you would need depending on doing your no 1 or no 2 etc. The staff was always rude and barely acknowledged us when we greeted them, they didn't clean the shared bathroom until the next day at 7pm after we asked them and with ants having a party in the bin.
