Hotel Savoy Inn — Hotel in Jipijapa

My wife and I booked into this Hotel for 3 nights in October 2012. Lousy receptionists, they don't even look at you . He just returned from holidays and there is a new system explain one of them; safety box don't work, TV out of order,hair dryer not available, computer not available; Staff suggest change of room after working unsuccessfully for more than one hour. New room after hours waiting : TV out of order, safety box out of order and they promise to fix it because Mgr. has the batteries but never came; the phones not working. Documents and valuables to be kept in the Mgr. office. Next floor up there is party of 50 people dancing on top of your bed at midnight, loud percussion for hour and a half. next day the manager was not available despite several requests to see her. Next night about 40 guest students at midnight at the hotel door's , drinking and waiting for buses to go with loud music and screams only to return a few hours later to continue the party at the hotel doors. Next day we tried to find the manager; She will be here latter they said. We need our documents to travel ! we want to talk to her ! At 2:00 PM the documents arrive but the Mgr. is gone! From America we posted a letter to the hotel on their site and until today we have no answer or comments. The Mgr is still missing !...

This hotel was lovely. We stayed many nights of our 20-day study abroad trip from Minnesota. Checking in was a little slow with the language difference, but things quickly got sorted out. At least one person on front desk staff knows English. There is always someone working at the front desk. Thank you for the amazing hospitality. Your laundry was timely, your breakfasts were quick and yummy, your rooms were always clean!!!, and your rooms have beautiful views of the city. Also, hot water for a shower 9/10 times. (this is much worse across Quito so this is very good!)||||Your dining facilities are beautiful and many of your bathrooms had nice remodelings!||||Thanks for the comfortable stay! ~...

el hotel tiene un servicio q deja mucho q desear, sus instalaciones se ven un poco anticuadas, su relación precio calidad es decepcionante, consigues hoteles mucho mejores por solo 50 dolares mas.||||el internet no sirve mas allá de la recepción, de todas las personas q trabajan en el hotel solo el botones q nos dio la bienvenida fue verdaderamente atento, en el mostrador estaba una persona q simplemente no te da pie a congeniar y como dato desagradable intento cobrarme casi 10 veces mas del valor regular por un marcador borrable, algo q me parecio una total falta de sentido y de tacto cuando una persona relacionada conmigo q estaba alojada antes q yo q es nacional ecuatoriano compro el mismo producto por la decima parte de lo q a mi me lo ofrecieron.||||lo mismo me paso al momento de acercarme al restauran de la planta baja, al preguntar el precio de un cafe me dijeron 2 dolares y al momento de pagar los dos cafes q habia pedido me cobraron 6 de la nada alegando q cada uno costaba 3!||||el restaurante del tercer piso cerca a los salones de conferencias tiene un diseño complemente desordenado, era medio dia y las cortinas por alguna razon estaba cerradas razon por la cual no se veia nada, el sitio estaba descuidado luego de un evento y veias la suciedad dejada desde el dia anterior.||||al solicitar un cenicero o arituculo para depositar las colillas del cigarrillo la respuesta fue que no habia nada y nos hicieron salir del hotel, cosa con la q no tengo ningun problema, salvo por el detalle q afuera del hotel no hay area de fumadores, al preguntar el empleado q estaba en el mostrador nos dijo q simplemente tiraramos las colillas en la calle.||||conclusión salvo por la servicial persona q me recibio y la comida del restaurante q solo es buena y no excelente, poco o nada puedo salvar de este hotel, los baños se ven sucios pero al fijarte se trata es de un mal lavado y de falta de renovacion ya q el hotel parece construido en los 70's y desde entonces no se hacen labores de mantenimiento y...
