La Casa de la Nonna — Hotel in San Juan

Absolutely lovely people !! So nice!! The lady waited up to let us in untill just after midnight. The room was very clean ,the bathroom was spotless. The bed ! Comfiest I've slept in on a long time ! The breakfast ,honestly, We could not believe the home made waffle topped with fresh fruit salad arrangement ,coffee, scrambled eggs it was double yummy ! Upon our return from Galapagos were booked in for another night of bliss :) ...

Janneth and her family were amazingly warm and welcoming. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, they all went out of their way to ensure I enjoyed my time. The space is room was spacious and the bed was comfortable though I wish there was a heater as the weather in Quito is on the chilly side. Breakfast that was included was simple...

Casa de la Nona ist ein gemütliches privat geführtes Hostel in Miraflores, ein Stückchen außerhalb der Altstadt, aber zu Fuß erreichbar. Es ist sehr ruhig hier (gute Wohngegend) Manchmal springen die Eltern der Besitzerin ein und machen bezauberndes Frühstück für einen. Die Zimmer sind groß und gut ausgestattet, das Bad relativ neu und gepflegt. Es ist sehr sehr sauber hier! Leider ging das wlan in unserem Zimmer nicht weswegen wir auf dem Flur sitzen mussten. Und dann hat ein anderer Gast noch einen Film gestreamt, da wars dann komplett vorbei. Naja später hatten wir ein Zimmer wo die Gardine gefehlt hat, das war nicht so toll weil die Straßenlaternen hinein geleuchtet haben. Die “Nona“ ist aber super nett, bemüht sich alles zu lösen und man bekommt gratis Tee zum Empfang. Auch wenn sie kein Englisch kann, sie spricht langsam und verständnisvoll. Man kann Wäsche bei ihr waschen, die dann gefaltet zurück kommt und pro Kilo kostet. Es gibt warmes Wasser, nicht wirklich super heiß aber warm und es ist wirklich sehr sauber...
