What I have experienced during my wedding is not what I have expected from a 5 star Hotel like the four seasons Alexandria .
1-The Hotel had ZERO communication with the Suppliers.
When the hotel noticed that the Novea the Decorist started late (where they were supposed to start preparing in the early morning ) = No follow up from the Hotel
The hotel did not inform us while we were busy getting ready , and then we discovered that the decor didn’t even start preparing the ballroom ) And consequently there was no time for any mistakes or faults. =Zero follow up & communication with us.
2-Again Zero Communication between the hotel & novea the Decorist!
I was supposed to Enter from behind the kosha in al Zaffa, I was informed by the ballroom supervisor 10 minutes before Al Zaffa, that I will not be able to enter from behind the kosha and that My entrance will be from the gate of the ballroom which is not what we agreed on , they claimed that this is the Decorist Novea mistake ,the question is, where is the communication between the Hotel and their suppliers!! And again it’s the Hotel mistake for not communicating anything to us despite our several visits before the wedding day to make sure everything is clear and to ask if there is anything we need to do or explain from our side.
3-Lack of commitment and professionalism from the Four seasons.
There was 2 round of Sparks(the thing like the fireworks) one was supposed to start while I enter from behind the kosha( which did not happen) and the other was supposed to start with the slow dance (which again did not happen) .
We were informed an hour before I enter that the hotel will not be able to use those kind of sparks which last for 60 seconds and according to safety measures Even though the 60 seconds spark were used normally in the previous weddings and this is the spark that momento studio always uses in the four seasons ! Four seasons is totally aware with what kind of sparks momento studio uses in the events since the four seasons already has a contract with momento ..and because of that we had to run in order to buy other kind of sparks on the wedding day!
The hotel changed the whole plan, an hour before I enter the four seasons decided that they will Not use these kind of sparks ! And the new sparks that we got was done while cutting the cake which was not what We agreed on at all.
So they changed my entrance , the sparks , the moments the sparks were going to start Just AN HOUR before My entrance..
4- Last but not least, while I was getting ready, the ballroom supervisor came to my room to Ask about the plan for the day! Which made me feel more nervous despite my several visits before the wedding day to ask if there is anything we need to discuss before the wedding day in order to prevent and extra stress.
When I chose the Four seasons for my big day, I did that for a reason and that reason was to prevent such coincidences to happen on such an important day like this, unfortunately I was very disappointed.
It was really bad luck to choose this hotel Which was totally disorganised from all points of view
I will never recommend it to any one just...
