Staying at the Nub Inn was a dream! Such an incredible experience. As an American traveler visiting Aswan for the first time, I found that this hotel had everything for a comfortable stay, while still allowing you to be fully immersed in Nubian culture. You are staying among the locals at the Nub Inn and will truly feel like you had an authentic Egyptian experience by staying here. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had an excellent stay and I would highly recommend this hotel. There is a beautiful Nubian woman who runs the hotel and she was so kind and accommodating! The majority of the staff spoke English and Arabic, so there was no language barrier. It is very close (4 mins walking) from market shopping in the Nubian Village, and the restaurant at the hotel itself was the most delicious food we ate during our weeklong stay in Egypt. Food at the restaurant was very vegetarian friendly and we had a traveler in our group that was Gluten Free as well - the food was great for both of us! The rooms are very small- best for a couple or single traveler, but the beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were clean & stocked with everything you could need. Hotel wifi/internet was very slow- making wifi calls or working remotely were a struggle- if you need to connect or work online during your stay, I would recommend bringing a hotspot or using your own 5G data. The reception desk & restaurant are across a small street from the rooms themselves (less than 2 min walk- directly across from one another) so you truly feel immersed in the village as you are staying there. Lots of stairs and steps to access the rooms- not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. There was a bit of noise from the surrounding area at night, so if you are a light sleeper, bring a white noise machine or earplugs. I found this hotel to be extremely safe, clean, and comfortable- perfect for a stay near the Nubian Village of Aswan. Would highly recommend staying here or at least visiting the restaurant - it’s located right on the Nile with incredible views and would be a great place to stay for any English-speaking traveler.

The restaurant reflects the Nubian vibe, the staff were very nice and friendly, the restaurant was very close. The food was not the best, but it's okay - very close to home cooked food, but for me the food was not as warm as I would have liked it to be. Nubb Inn has one of the best locations when it comes to overlooking the Nile and the view is incredible.(View attached). Besides the food, their drinks were outstanding, one of the best Guavas drinks I have had in a very long time and at a very reasonable price. I would have given them an extra star but the food was not up to my standard. Overall, great location, one of the best restaurants to attend at the Nubian island. I would recommend that you visit for sure.

Enjoyed my stay, service is good, rooms are clean and house keeping is good. Hotel has a great view of Aswan nile and the islands. Great location, you can take a boat ride right from there. Breakfast is spacious and delicious. Chymaa the manager can actually accommodate anything you want and she is surprisingly always available 😄. The local market also is walking distance and I loved it. The only thing they were working on renovations with loud equipments while guests are everywhere. Other than that, I would definitely recommend it.

Amazing stay with great accommodations and great service with outstanding crew!!!|We booked this hotel last minute for a big family and friends group, and from the first phone call with Shaimaa and Trivina they set an excellent standard for our stay!!|This place is directly on the river nile with rooms that have nile views and others that dont. The rooms were very clean and the staff were so helpful, smiling and went above and beyond to serve all our needs. The place has an outstanding spacious terrace with breathtaking views and very easy access to the nile to take boats and do lots of activities. The Nubian village is a great place for a mixture of relaxation, adventure and sight seeing!! |We requested a full board stay and the food was so delicious and fresh!! They always checked with us what we wanted on the menu and did even more than what we requested and it was always yummy!!|The place a a Nubian local market that is less than a 5 min walk that has plenty of places to buy souvenirs and gifts. |Because it was a last minute reservation, we did not have anything preplanned, but we ended up doing so much activities with the help of the hotel management who helped arrange everything we needed when we needed it and gave us great advice and ideas!!|Ine of the best parts was when the hotel management arranged a Nubian party for us one night and we had a blast!!!|Truly this place is outstanding and we highly recommend it for all ages and all types...

Nub Inn is one of the best lodgings I have stayed in, and I have stayed in many hotels in my travels. The room was large. clean, had a refrigerator, hot showers, good toilets, and a large balcony with a Nile River view. We only stayed 1 night because we were in Aswan only for 1 night, but I wish we had more days scheduled in Aswan because this location and Nub Inn was amazing. The restaurant served delicious Egyptian meals. I was also pleasantly surprised that they offered alcohol with dinner. I had a glass of delicious Egyptian wine and my partner had an Egyptian beer during dinner. I loved the large balcony with Nile River view. I woke up early to watch the beautiful sunrise from the balcony. The staff at Nub Inn were the best. Everyone there was pleasant, helpful, and friendly. Hajar was in touch with us prior to our arrival to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. She also arranged for us a wonderful felucca ride at sunset. The common areas, lawn, and outside areas are immaculately maintained. Having the Nubian Village right there is convenient. We took a nice stroll through the village in the early morning when it was still quiet. If we return to Aswan again, we will stay here again. We loved...
