Amazing 14 Days at Hotel 59 Beausite, Marsa Matrouh||We stayed at this hotel from 21.08. – 04.09.2025 and it was a fantastic choice for our first time in Egypt by the Mediterranean Sea (until now, we only knew the Red Sea resorts).||Hotel & Location|A smaller, modernized hotel with a great atmosphere – much better than a huge resort. It’s located on the edge of Marsa Matrouh’s center, so the street in front can be busy during the season, but this didn’t affect our comfort. The beach is beautiful, with white sand and a private swimming area. Just a few steps away, there’s a big local market with everything from clothes to spices.||Rooms|We stayed in room 3307 on the 3rd floor – spacious, clean, with a large balcony and direct sea view. The bed had a very comfortable, high-quality mattress. Standard facilities: LED TV, fridge, and safe. Bathroom was fine, but the gap under the door let in light from the corridor at night.||Food & Drinks|Food variety was good for the hotel size, and we never had to wait in long lines. Special thanks to Chef Mohamed for the delicious beef in mustard sauce – unforgettable! And thanks to Kerols for always finding mustard when I needed it.||Services|The hotel has a small shop with souvenirs, cigarettes, and SIM cards (6.5 GB for €10). You can even have a handmade, hand-painted magnet created on the spot – a nice touch.||What Could Be Better|• A shower at the beach (not only a foot rinse) would be great.|• No hairdryer in the room – unusual for a hotel of this category.|• Shower layout in the bathroom made it easy to splash water outside.||Staff & Atmosphere|We sincerely want to thank all the staff of Hotel 59 for making our 14 days so enjoyable. I would have to list absolutely everyone here – from reception (especially the night receptionist, who I often asked to exchange bills for smaller ones), to the dining staff, beach service (see the gallery for a photo of our personal bartender), the beach bar, pool bar (Remy – don’t forget to keep improving your English 😉), the night bar with great drinks, and of course Yasser – thank you! And we’re sure we haven’t mentioned everyone – but our thanks go to all of you. And we must not forget madame Christy – thank you.||We really enjoyed our stay and can only recommend Hotel 59 Beausite for anyone looking for a smaller, friendly hotel with great service and a perfect...

Read moreI was looking for a place where I can enjoy Egypt’s beautiful beaches and with a nice decent culture, service and distinguished guests. The quality of management, the quality of service, food, revenue of value for what you paid and quality of guests in any resort can make your experience the best or break it. That is my mindset and if it is yours too then Beausite 59 is definitely your place to go. I heard while booking about so many hotels and resorts which are extremely expensive beyond even a ritz Carlton in the Bahamas! I tried a few of those I will say but I did not enjoy and my high expectations fell short for all my goals stated above! Then I heard about Beausite 59 and I was hesitant in the beginning and then I was like what we loose lets book a night! One night led to extending another and so on! Everything you can think of is there! Marsa Matrouh maybe chaotic but Beausite 59 stands in out as a nice small cozy elegant authentic place! The vibe, the decoration the service the attention to the smallest details the care and the excellent management by Christine makes a world of difference!!! You will truly feel you are in an exotic resort outside of Egypt. The rooms with mid-century modern furniture, the cleanliness, the amenities and the quality of the experience is by far the best I had in Egypt and stands out by genuine authentic high-class vibe that is hard to find in Egypt and even better than all those overrated resorts. Food is amazing, healthy, high quality, good varieties and cooked with high quality ingredients so in fact my stomach did not feel sick eating like I did elsewhere!! Long story short: if you want a unique experience combining elegance, high quality, Marsa Matrouh beautiful beaches and being away from the Chaos this is your place!!!| I whole heartedly double down that it is...
