Marassi Beach Clubhouse — Hotel in Matruh

regret to say that our recent visit to Bar Iris fell far below expectations. From the beginning, the service was subpar — staff were inattentive and repeatedly delayed basic requests such as providing ice for our drinks. After multiple follow-ups, we eventually had to ask for the ice box to be placed near our table just to avoid further inconvenience.

The food was also disappointing, especially given the high prices. We were charged over 3,500 EGP, yet the pasta dish contained only a few small pieces of beef, and the shrimp was overly oily and poorly prepared.

What was most frustrating, however, was how the evening ended. Despite not having completed the minimum charge, no one informed us that the kitchen was closing. We were still planning to order more items, and when we tried to do so, the manager informed us the kitchen was closed. We attempted to resolve the issue politely, suggesting we could order something with the remaining amount. Instead, we were told in an unprofessional tone that we wouldn’t be allowed to leave unless we paid the full amount, despite the fact that we hadn’t received the full value of what we were paying for.

This approach to customer service is simply unacceptable for a venue positioned at this price point. It left us feeling frustrated, disrespected, and...

I heard about Marrassi resort from several sources. So I decided to go and visit some friends that were staying. As I arrived I was surprised at the amount of people that were not even from the resort. Yet they are supposed to be very strict in their entrance. I joined some people at the cafe in the country club. I ordered the one juice that they had because there was no ice, which was strawberry juice and it was horrible. This review will be very controversial .. because it is .. Marassi beach is a family beach .. lots of kids and parents and maids .. it's not " hip " or " cool " in today's standards .. the sea is phenomenal .. calm turquoise blue .. some areas full of rocks .. you have to know how .. over all .. not.my best beach to go .. if you prefer calm beach experience go at 8 am and leave by 12 max . Don't think about finding a place to sit if you go after 3 pm . Lots of food , coffee and...
