The best resort in Hurghada especially for families with kids. The beach and pool there is clean and great for kids. Honestly we have stayed in many different hotels and resorts until now and l dont really remember most of them now, but Eagles Resort we will never forget. We stayed 4 nights (from 27.12.21 to 01.01.2022) and we wish we could have stayed longer. If we again visit Hurghada this resort will definitely be the first for us. Some information about the resort.
Staff: All the staff working there from manager to the room service they are all so good, smiling and helpful people. The first reason we liked about this resort was the staff. Communication is the most important thing and everybody in this resort is so good about it. We didnt see anybody see us and not say hello or small talk. We liked this. And almost all of them can speak or understand English and Russian. They are fast. They are aware of everything. If you ask something they do it immediately. They dont make you wait for hours (we have realy bad experiences from another hotels we stayed before). The hotel manager Yousuf is doing his job really good😊
Food: We liked the food. The chef l dont know his name but he is doing a really good job. And restaurant manager Mahmout is really good about communication with guests and serve them everything nicely. He is a great guy and whenever we entered the restaurant he welcomed us with a smile and served us. He tried hard to make us feel at home. He even mashed some food himself for our 7 months old baby girl💕. By the way New Year night they prepared a huge and so good menu. We couldnt even try all the food. Also there was a so good entertainment program. At checking out early morning they also gave us a lunch pack for the bus journey.
Rooms: its a new place. 1 bedroom one living room. Some of them has kitchen. But you dont need to cook because almost anytime you can find some food to eat in the resort. Its all inclusive. There is bottle water in the room. They clean the room floor everyday. There are towels in the room even for pool. So you dont need to go another place to have the tovel and sign for it. Whenever we had any problem about room the room manager Samy found a solution really fast and made sure we are happy and comfortable again🤗. For example the room we stayed for first night was a bit cold for us. We have 7 months old baby but next day thanks to Samy we changed our room to a better room with a really good heater. And they send us an extra blanket to use on the floor for our crawling baby girl
Location: The resort is not in the city, but there is a shopping centers around and just 5 minutes by use uber or ask help from reception to find taxi and deal the price. They all ask diffirent prices 😝. We had 2 bad experiences with taxi drivers. So l hope you wont. By the way the resort is so close to the airport.
Price: We paid around 1000 pound for one night for all inclusive (1500 for new year night). Its fair enough. The price is really good when you compare with other resorts in our opinion.
The aqua park is really good. There are 2 big pools and kids pool, but unfurtunatly not heated, so we couldnt use them, because the weather wasnt really warm but we are sure it would be perfect with warmer weather. There is really good and big play ground, even a small zoo, futbol and tennis area. They have some entertaintment for kids dinner time. Its so much fun. While we are eating our dinner our 4 years old boy was dancing with animators. They have some water activities. Parasut 55 dollar, banana boat 5 dollar per person.
In the lobby you can also find the very helpful tour planner Remon working for Royal Sea Scope, who can help you with submarine trips in the Red Sea or trips to the Dolphine Park.
The only minus thing is l think about wifi. You can only connect to wifi...
Read moreWe staid with a 2 year old for 10 days at the beginning of July. The hotel Staff are incredibly friendly, kind and ready to help with any issues. For example, extra water, towels, eating in the room because one is taking care of sick child. We had to use our health insurance and that was very smooth, we had car to pick us up and return us from the clinic. The hotel consists of 3 buildings numbered Eagles 1, 2 and 3, Eagles 1 is the closest to the beach. The beach is very clean, and the life guard was incredibly pleasant and he really cared for the safety of everyone at the beach. The beach is in fact a small marina, and there are 4 large boats which take divers to the sea on a daily basis. We did not find this particularly destructive but for those who like to swim far this may not be very attractive. For us, it worked because we spend most of our time with a toddler in shallow waters. It is worth mentioning that the hotel is family friendly and when we staid we were with vacationers from Egypt who were so sweet and friendly, especially towards our child. It is very easy for a kid to find friends to play with and there is also an animation team who make effort to get them to dance in the evening which is very cute. I have to also highlight that the food is very delicious and diverse. Although we did not eat salads and fruits due to fears of being sick we enjoyed all of their cooked dishes. They also serve decent espresso coffee at their beach bar, and they make loads of effort to make different dining experiences in the evening. We had once Lebanese dinner and once pool side dinner which were so nice. The holiday price is incredible value for money. The hotel rooms are acceptably clean but could be cleaner and the same applies about the child safety in the room. So one really must supervise child at all times because power sockets are open, some cables are connected with a tape and some cabinets had glass top which could easily slide off. However, this did not bother us too much as we spent very little time in the room. Also, the bathrooms are fitted without hand shower which makes washing a child bit tricky as they can’t drink water from the shower. Also, I think the restaurant would really need some high chairs for children. My child simply was too busy with everything else to be able to eat, so I had to run around to feed her. So perhaps if they had couple of chairs it would be so much easier. We really recommend this place for families and we are looking forward to return next year. The waiters are incredibly sweet and everyone works so hard with a big warm smile. I really liked that a lot...
Read moreThis hotel is completely misleading compared to what you see in the pictures and the way it is advertised. When we arrived, it looked nothing like what we expected.|| • Rooms & Facilities: The rooms were in very poor condition. Only tiny bottles or small refills of shampoo were provided, towels were always missing, and there was almost no toilet paper. We constantly had to ask for basic supplies.|| • Wi-Fi: The hotel claims to have Wi-Fi in the rooms, but that is not true. Internet is very weak throughout the property and you must reconnect every 10–20 minutes with a code.|| • Drinks & Food: No alcohol was available at all. The “mini-bar” included only two bottles of water and one cola – not the soft drinks and beverages advertised. We asked several times for Cola Zero, but were told it wasn’t available. The buffet was very repetitive with almost the same food every day. Drinks were limited to cola, cola zero (sometimes), and artificial juices.|| • Health Concerns: After eating at the buffet we experienced stomach issues and diarrhea, and ended up eating outside the hotel several times to avoid illness.|| • Scam Activities: Never book activities through this hotel. We were tricked into a so-called “safari” (Crystal Sahara), which was nothing more than a scam to take money from us.|| • Ocean View Room: We paid extra for an ocean view room, but for the first two days we didn’t get what we paid for. Only after repeated complaints did they give us something “similar.”|| • Service: Some staff were polite and tried their best, but overall the service was very poor. Even after paying for a massage, I was pressured several times for extra tips – even days later while I was swimming.||||The only positive was that a few staff members were kind, but this does not make up for the overall false advertising, poor service, and bad experience.||||For reference, I later checked Google reviews and found many guests reported the same issues, so this was not just...
