To the Pickalbatros Laguna Club Hotel Management, especially Mr. Mohamed Homos,
As I come to the end of a truly exceptional hotel experience, I find it difficult to fully express my gratitude and admiration in words. Nevertheless, I wanted to write this message from the heart.
The six days I spent at your hotel with my wife and daughter, between July 15 and July 21, 2025, were filled with moments we will cherish forever. This wasn’t just a vacation — this was an experience where we felt truly valued, cared for, respected, and genuinely happy. That is something not every hotel can achieve.
From the very first moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. The reception staff was fast, polite, and professional. Our room was impeccably clean, well-organized, and had everything we needed. Every morning, we woke up not just feeling “at home,” but feeling like we were in a dream.
We used all of the hotel’s amenities with great joy — the pools, the beach, the waterpark, spa, relaxation areas, and children’s activities. Everything was incredibly well-maintained and sparkling clean. Honestly, what makes your hotel stand out is the flawless cleanliness and attention to every little detail. We never encountered a single issue or inconvenience.
I’d also like to mention the food. While some dishes were different from what we are used to in Turkish cuisine due to the spices, the variety, freshness, and effort in every meal were impressive. Out of 20 dishes, at least 5 perfectly matched our taste. My daughter and my wife enjoyed every meal. We were never once left hungry — in fact, we often had a hard time choosing from all the delicious options.
But more than anything else, what makes your hotel truly special is your staff. Every single person we interacted with was kind, patient, and solution-oriented. No one ever said “no.” No one ever seemed tired or frustrated. Each staff member carried a genuine smile and a deep sense of dedication to their work. It’s rare — and incredibly valuable — to see such passion.
And of course, I cannot forget one name: Mr. Mohamed Homos. Dear Manager, your leadership is more than administrative — it is inspirational. The way you guide your team is clearly reflected in every corner of the hotel. Watching you in action made me realize that it’s not just a building that makes a hotel excellent — it’s the spirit, the leadership, and the human touch behind it. And you have mastered all three.
As a father, a husband, and a guest from Turkey, I want to tell you this sincerely:
You don’t just run a hotel — you live it. And that’s what makes the difference.
To you, to your team, and to all those who work silently behind the scenes — we offer our deepest gratitude. Pickalbatros Laguna Club has now become our second home. We leave with full hearts, beautiful memories, and a longing to return someday.
We are so glad we met you. We are so glad we chose your hotel. Until we meet again…
Thank you from the bottom...

the flowers and the lawn are maintained daily, the paving stones are washed, but the hotel does not look new as others say. you can see some crumbling roofs. the staff is frendly but see comments about tips.
clean and big room, cleaned everyday but not everyday restocked with bathroom accessories. is a all inclusive but the refrigerator had only water, for anything else you need to go to bars.
clean pools, in general very shalow but is one at 1.5m at the sister hotel across the road - I was here every day. the sea is quite cold now, but you get used to it, the problem is that the water is very shallow 100m from the shore, and after that I was honestly afraid to swim (sharks)
beach and pool bars weak alcohol and very little food- beach bar only icecream and poor pizza slices (but made there fresh), another bar only had pancakes and another only waffles. the food at the restaurant was not very diverse from one day to the onother, few choices and 90% of the food had no taste - in the last few days I was getting depressed and loose all appetite when we were getting ready to go to eat (but the food was safe). the juices, the coffee, the few cheeses, olives and some sweets were good. is clean in the restaurant and the employees clear quickly (possible if you leave the table you won't find the plate :)
all staff and people in egypt wants tips and for everything they welcome you with "this is for me?" even security guard at airport said this when he saw my pen- i said no:) tips are granted not begged!!!!! the receptionist wanted to charge us more for the already paid room (pool view). they are not aggressive but they do it on your face, you feel exploited:(((
in all resorts inside is nice, but when you get out you will see sidewalks etc. in very poor condition, and in general a rather dirty appearance.
I drove one day, nobody follows any rules. very cheap petrol 20 cents/l, but you can rent it at an overpriced price (70 eur/day with only 100km included), I hardly found it at 30 eur/day but because I did 500 km in the end I paid 100 eur. quite frequent military check points, with certain roads where you are not allowed access without any explanation. contrary to what some say, this is not proof of safety, but the opposite
in conclusion, if you really want to take a bath in April, it might be worth it, otherwise you wait another 2 months, add a few hundred euros and go to Greece or Turkey, I wouldn't come back. for those who say that it is possible to go to a 3k eur hotel if you are picky, why would I pay 3k eur in Egypt? with this money I go to the best places in Italy and Greece, average hotels but the total experience over Egypt (see food, people,...

There was an error with my booking and the management found a solution quickly and to my advantage. The managers of various departments could not do enough to make our stay feel welcome. Hospitality is definitely an Egyptian talent.
The ‘Club’ is a cheaper option from the main hotel and the clients can use most of the facilities in the ‘Vista’ hotel.
Unfortunately my children were sick for the only full day we had there and we didn’t get to use the water park (the main reason I had booked the hotel!).
The food selection is reasonable and the special ‘romantic’ meal with the sea food or meat grill was very good quality.
We had booked the pool bungalow because it was written double bed and two singles - this seems to be a typo and Infact it is either, not both. The room was spacious though, and well designed with lots of modern storage space. It is great to be in front of the pool but beware - not every pool is heated! And some of the evening’s activities can be heard until late. Bring earplugs if this doesn’t suit you. There is a big walk in shower and toiletries provided. Fridge in the room and TV with many channels (most in Arabic, naturally). There is a shuttle bus that takes you over the road but be prepared to wait a few minutes. Otherwise, it is a two minute walk over a main road to access the numerous pools in the main complex and beach area. To get to the beach is a bit of a walk and if you have mobility issues, this may not be the best hotel for you.
Well done for: Being flexible and kind to cater for the clients’ needs Lots of areas to have snacks and drinks throughout the day Friendly service Providing a variety of food to suit different tastes Going above and beyond for my sick children
Points for improvement: Buggies to the beach or water park for those in need would be a great idea Clients could be notified about potential noise pollution and offered an option to join or distance themselves The water park opening times could be extended slightly (open from 9am and over lunchtime..?)
All in all, I would return but probably spend a little more and go to the Vista hotel instead. Thank you to the staff that made our ‘Club’ stay as enjoyable as...
