Motion Sharm El Sheikh — Restaurant in South Sinai

Stumbled across this place on an evening walk last night (24.10.2024) Initially drawn in by the American Diner / Sports Bar decor and sat down for a refreshing beverage.

Zedan, our waiter was immediately hospitable and accommodating. We were served quickly and attentively and offered to look at the food menu.

Choice of food was typical of American Sports Bar; Burgers, steaks, fajitas, etc. we decided to select a few options from the appetitisers section, chicken goujons, loaded potato skins, mozzarella sticks. I was impressed with the food which was international quality, same if not better than Hard Rock Cafe across the road for half the price!

Drinks menu includes cocktails, international beers and spirits.

There isn’t a specific kids menu but there was plenty of options that were suitable for kids.

Special mention for Zedan who was perfectly attentive to us, if fact he could not do enough to help and made this meal out very enjoyable by providing excellent service.

Would highly recommend if looking for a casual dining experience for the family at reasonable price.

I had an amazing time at Motion, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was Raslan. From the moment I arrived in Sharm El Sheikh, he went above and beyond to help me—not just at the club, but with everything I needed around the nightlife scene. He made sure I was safe, informed, and always having a good time.

What really blew me away is that he wouldn’t even accept tips. His kindness and genuine care are rare to find, especially in such a busy tourist area. Raslan is the kind of person who turns a good night into a great memory. If you’re ever at Motion or anywhere in Sharm, find Raslan—you won’t regret it.

I have mixed feelings about this place. We decided to visit it because it had a pretty high rating here, but we were rather disappointed and hungry! The service was great, as was the appearance of the food, BUT that's it! The food looked pretty appetizing when it arrived, but it was actually not good at all! We had never eaten more tasteless food anywhere - I had asked for my beef with shrimp to be medium, and it was very overcooked, as were the shrimp that came with it, which were not edible at all! We thought about ordering dessert, but we were so disappointed that we just left. The interior is good, but they definitely need to focus on the taste...
