We’ve been to HV Turkey 5 times so wasn’t sure what we were going to get with HV Egypt however it’s a lovely place and certainly less cramped than Turkey around the pools. HV Egypt at the moment feels a little less crazy than Turkey lol. The staff will do anything at all for you and yes they work for tips which is very different to Turkey however how much you give them to how much they try and help you is always worth it. Ahmed & Mohammed serving around the pool is very friendly and hard working all the time. They are on their feet all day with a smile on their face. They really want to serve and look after you which is very nice. Our room cleaner Abdel hameed who is cleaning our room 10325 is very kind and again very helpful. We’re still on this holiday now and thoroughly enjoying it. The food in the buffet isn’t as good as HV turkey but HV turkey in my eyes is somewhat amazing. Here in Egypt for dinner you can go to the buffet which does have a good selection with salads and hot food etc but you can also go to food court which will cook pizza , pasta , chicken wraps , chips etc or you can also go to the Greek and get other food cooked for you for dinner which literally takes 10 minutes for the food to come out. Superb service again throughout. We’ve been to two restaurants at the mo with the Indian booked tonight. The Greek taverna restaurant and bamboo Asian restaurant were both superb with half the group saying the bamboo is better and the other half saying the Greek taverna was better but both were amazing. I must give a shout out to the lifeguards too as they are always keeping an eye on the pool area and making sure people are safe, rasford the lifeguard is amazingly funny, friendly and helpful giving us advise about the hotel, sharm and Egypt 🙏🏼

First time in Egypt. This hotel was amazing. Staff were wonderful, funny and helpful. There was plenty of spaces by the pool no matter the time of day but that might be because be went in mid September. Our room was fantastic but there were a few downs to it such as flickering lights, ridge didn’t work, flooding shower and there was plug sockets only on one side of the bed not both. We had a view on to the main pool and the sea. This hotel is 100% more for families with children rather than couples on holiday as there is plenty if actives and entertainment for the kids during the day and night but for adults there was pretty much nothing unless it wasn’t displayed clearly. Also we noticed that once you had a certain amount of drinks they avoid coming to you also definitely there is favouritism by the staff on who they will come to more often than not for example by the pool we was sat next to a family who would get drinks all the time as soon as they finished and we had to ask for them to come over and take our order but the drinks where weak anyways. Also the hotel includes 4 restaurants Chinese, Indian, Greek and American, we went to all apart from Greek because we heart it wasn’t the best from people who have been but our favourite was the Indian one. There is shish-a on site of the hotel but have to pay extra for that. When you walk out of the hotel there a shops, pharmacy etc. if you want to go to Soho square just ask at reception and they will take you there and back. Over all had a lovely stay.

My family & I have visited this holiday village for the last 3 years and honestly can’t fault this place. Everything about here is amazing!! The best all inclusive package, from 3 different locations for lunch, main restaurant or 4 a la cartes for dinner and snacks served randomly throughout the day including ice-cream, popcorn and fruit. The staff here are the most friendly and amazing people who honestly can’t do enough for you. Bar manager Tamer has looked after us every time we have been here and always checks everything is okay. All the waiting staff are also amazing and super friendly. The cleaners & gardeners work amazingly to keep the place looking stunning and clean each and every day, all day. As a family of 3 females, we have always felt extremely safe whilst staying here as there is security guards at either end on the beach as well as at the main door and main entrance into the village itself. Overall, would highly recommend visiting here whether you are a large or small family, children or not, as this resort caters for all.

Recently stayed at this hotel with three young children. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

The hotel grounds are in impeccable condition with regular maintenance by the hardworking staff continually trimming and watering the grass. It is very tidy and well presented. Signage is appropriate with paths clearly laid out to the different sections. I would not say it is too large and we managed to find our bearings within the first day which is positive.

The family room we stayed in was a generous size with large bedrooms and terrace. The main bedroom was divided from the two single beds via a sliding door. The bathroom was a decent size also. There was no iron provided but this can be requested via reception. Rooms are cleaned everyday to a good standard with replacement beach towels given.

Restaurants provided the standard variety of buffet food and there were themed nights at the main buffet restaurant. There is the option to book via the a la carte restaurants and there is an option to try these complimentary. These range from Greek/Asian/Indian/American/Stone Grill. The food was tasty and fresh daily. One negative I would point out is there was limited options for the children’s section. The waiters were polite and efficient although they were initially a bit slow to serve with the drinks. This could have been due to us visiting during the peak Easter holidays and this did improve during the latter part of the week.

The walk to the beach is a couple of minutes down from the main buffet restaurant. There are plenty of sunbeds available with a drinks bar located not too far away. The sea during April stretched far with the tide out and you could walk quite a bit further out without a worry. The sea is clean, and we did not see any seaweed on the beach.

The hotel has an activity schedule which you can follow and participate in via the app. Activities cater towards children and adults. We did not utilize the kids club as much as we would have liked. This was due to separating children into separate groups based on age. We were not given an option of a settling in period. We did find the staff to be very polite and friendly. The hotel also had a swim academy and football academy which kept the children entertained. There is also a high ropes course alongside a climbing wall which kept them busy.

There is a large swimming pool with the deepest part around 145cm. There are separate children’s pool areas with a mini slide and a larger pool area with two slides attached. As a guest of the hotel, you have access to another waterpark from the Coral Sea Aqua Club. This is located across the road and provides more entertainment and access to slides/water rides.

During our stay (April), there were quite a few mosquitos about in the evening and members of our party were bitten. The hotel does provide a mosquito plug in and spray for the room. This is something to be aware of and prepare beforehand.

Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel. With a location of our fifteen minutes away from the airport with plenty of shops outside, we did not have to venture far to do our shopping. Staff were polite, professional, and provided a friendly service. Alongside the perfect weather, beautiful beach, and scrumptious food, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel to families with young children....

What can I say. Coral sea has become our favourite place in the world. Our first visit was 2 years ago when we had a swim up room. Since then we have been 8 times and had kids den room and deluxe double rooms. All rooms are very spacious with a huge walk in wardrobe. Rooms cleaners are amazing and do a great job. Your holiday experience starts as soon as you get off the bus. You are greeted in reception with a glass of something and check in is quick. During the form filling process your luggage is loaded onto a buggy ready to give you a fun ride to your room. Mahmoud Atlam on reception is very helpful and we have used his assistance and knowledge many times on our visits. Food The main buffet restaurant serves a great selection. Breakfast gives you fresh egg and beef bacon cooking stations as well as providing a huge selection of pastries, cereals, yoghurt and fruit. Lunch and dinner they always have a pasta cooking station and fresh pizzas and each night a different meat station. If you are here for 2 weeks it can get a little repetitive but that is where the a la cartes come in. You get 4 visits per 7 day stay and you can choose between Indian Chinese Greek and American. Hygiene They take this very seriously and are continually cleaning and wiping surfaces, changing serving spoons and checking food temperatures. If you get a bad belly it’s usually down to the heat or drinking too much alcohol in the sun. Staff These are the reason why we keep returning. They are honestly the most hardworking and friendliest people we have ever met. Nothing is too much trouble. They work 12 hour shifts I have no idea how they keep going in such heat and keep their enthusiasm going all day. Big shout out to Hany, Moneim, tamer, Abdo, the 2 Mohammed’s and 3 Ahmed’s at the pool bars who keep you hydrated all day. Romany, Mohamed, shady, and Dya in lobby bar who keep us going with a cup of tea and amazing iced lattes. Restaurant staff too many to mention. But they greet you with a smile every meal time and remember your drink preference. Faris, Sherriff, and all the Ahmed’s and Mohammed’s. Over the last 2 years we have noticed the hotel is making many changes to make people’s holiday experience better with changes to more higher spec food options, the refurbishment of rooms and restaurants and bars to more varied entertainment. The 2 uk guest acts this holiday were George Michael tribute and Shane Nolan. We have also seen a Robbie Williams one, all really good . Last night they even had an Ibiza DJ on the beach. Xmas and New Year We came December 2024. New year was spectacular with cocktail party to start the evening off before everyone moves to a huge marque on the beach for an amazing party to see in the new year. Highly recommend...

Firstly, we’ve had a lovely family holiday and the staff are wonderfully helpful and so friendly with the kids. The rooms were nice and spacious but in need of some updating. Our bath plug didn’t work but was repaired within 10 minutes of asking, again, the staff on the whole are excellent. A particularly large shout out to the animation team and the biggest thank you of all to Kayleigh at the kids club, our eldest son was so excited to keep going back and she was central to our enjoyment due to having to wrangle a feral younger brother. Now, there are some things that should have been made more clear by TUI and the hotel listings. 1- The pools are clean and nice BUT… only 2 smaller pools are heated, the louder activity pool and the quiet pool, neither of which are particularly warm though. We had 20-25 degree weather for our week and there was not much improvement. The kids activity pool, the water slides and the main pool were FREEZING cold, even Wim Hoff wouldn’t have braved them for long. Also of note is that the pools close at sunset everyday. 2-Be aware that the seafood and Stone-grill restaurants are the ones with extra charges. 3-The Greek and American restaurants are pretty underwhelming in terms of food quality. Not to say it was bad, but it wasn’t as notably different from the buffet 4-The Asian restaurant was very tasty and was well worth the visit 5-The general buffet is fairly decent but the variety could be a little better as it felt quite repetitive after a week of breakfasts, lunch and dinners. 6-The kid’s playground is very tired and in need of a total overhaul. 7-Although it was excellent and we cannot praise Kayleigh enough, the kids club is for ages 4 and over, this was not made clear on the website. One of the reasons we booked here was the well reviewed kids club in the hope of both our boys being able to go. 8-The archery and high ropes course that look amazing fun apparently don’t open until April which again, is not made very clear on websites. 9-The beach is nice and fairly clean but with fairly coarse sand for the most part, don’t expect the fine golden sands. 10- Bring some coins and tip people, the staff deserve it and work incredibly hard. 11- Shukran = Thank you, say it, don’t be ignorant

Overall, we have had a lovely stay and a great holiday, with a few minor improvements and more transparent advertising this really would be a very good 4 star...
