Whilst this is quite a large hotel complex that incorporates the Reef Oasis Beach Resort and Sentido Resort, it doesn't have a large complex feel. The choice of restaurants and food was amazing, with a choice of al a carte restaurants, I can highly recommend the Kebaby and Indian Restaurants. The staff were all wonderful, special mention to Romany at the beach front snack bar, and Mohammed in the main restaurant. A shout out to the lifeguard and barman at the Rama Pool, who made every effort to make our visit unforgettable, as often we were the only guests at this pool! A must for the reef and beach! A shuttle bus runs from one end of the resort to the other to help you get around. Although the guests are 90% Italian, English was commonly spoken. Don't forget your mosquito spray.
Second Visit September 2024 This is the second time I have visited this hotel, something I would not normally do, however having visited here in March this year and having had such an amazing experience felt it worthy of another visit. Whilst I knew what to expect, the hotel went beyond my expectations, many staff called out to us and welcomed us back, recalling our drink orders as if it was only yesterday, this was not something I had expected from such a large resort and was truly humbled by the staffs hospitality. The hotel is looking a little tired in places, and there is ongoing building work, but you will not notice this day to day. The food is of good quality, with various al a carte options available if you wish, some gratis, some paid. Several places to eat through the day, the beach front restaurant and on the beach the snack bar, as well as the main restaurant near reception which opens for all meal times. The beach gets busy, however there is always a supply of sunbeds and sun shades, I would advise to get to the beach early. The animation team start at about 10am most days along with very loud music, which I find was a negative. Snorkelling is amazing the variations in coral, and fish are amazing, the sea is calmer in the morning and less busy. The beach whilst rocky in places in gently sloped for those with children, there are life guards also across the beach and pool areas. There were during the busy parts of the day two shuttle buses running from one end of the site to the beach and back, which made any waits very short lived. Pools, there are so many pools, none of which ever seemed particularly busy or crowded, for a relaxing day away from the beach. There is a Spa here with various treatment options, also a Scuba, dive club on the beach. A shout out to Romany and to Hani ? The life guard at the Rama Pool, both who greeted us like old friends from day one and went the extra mile to make our stay even more enjoyable. Also to Mohammed who's service in the restaurant was amazing and to A? who's name I have sadly forgotten who along with the others made each meal time enjoyable. Will I be...
Read moreWe have stayed at the resort in late sept. The resort is about a half hour drive from the airport. Taxi is $25, and a van is $40. Arrange with the reception prior to arrival. It is a large resort. Sharm-El-Sheikh is a hot place but the room AC units are powerful enough to cool down rooms in a short while. AC noise is low; does not bother at night. The rooms show their age, but they are functional and acceptable in general. The water in the bathroom is not hot & cool, but rather hot & warm. Shower water pressure was very low in our room. The resort is undergoing renovation and it is said that all the rooms will be renovated. Restaurants seem to have been renovated and are in very good condition, and restaurants deserve a much higher rating than the rooms. Food and food selection are very good, cleanliness seems high priority, and staff is plenty and helpful. The manager Mr. Yaşar is inspecting the entire resort sunrise to midnight. Resort is all inclusive. Main restaurant has AC, the others are open air. Beach is sandy, suitable for kids. You get a large beach towel per person using the cards that you get during checkin. A reef barrier encloses the beach, you cannot swim out; for a way out, there is a floating pier. The beach reef area is said to be the best in the Sharm-El-Sheikh region but the down side to this is, many people come in boats. The only problem with the beach is, you have to walk up/down many stairs. If you have a knee or heart problem, do not come. If you have a problem, management tries to help with club-cars. An elevator is necessary for beach access at this resort. If you are snorkeling, underwater life is good with a lot of fish (no sharks, turtles, or dolphins tough). The interesting and nice thing is, you do not have to venture out to see fish; just walk out in the sea to the reef from the shore, and you see a lot more fish then swimming among the reef; very good for kids. I have snorkeled all around the world, and the same fish here are somewhat the friendliest! There is an aquapark at the resort highway entrance with many water slides for all ages; a shuttle is available. During our stay, the guests were mostly Italian, and the staff seem to know Italian more than...
Read moreThe hotel was truly amazing in every aspect! I want to sincerely thank the staff — they were all extremely friendly, welcoming, and professional. The food quality was outstanding; it definitely felt more like a 5-star experience rather than 4 stars. Every meal was delicious and beautifully varied.
The beach was absolutely stunning. I had such a great time there. The sandy area is slightly to the right side, and I’d highly recommend wearing water shoes, as there are some scattered rocks that could hurt your feet.
Our room was garden view, and I was honestly worried at first because I’m usually afraid of insects. But to my surprise, there wasn’t a single bug — not even a mosquito — just a few butterflies around, which was actually lovely.
The aqua park was super fun! A couple of the slides were closed, but the ones that were open were really enjoyable. There’s also a children’s aqua park, which was very cute and well-maintained. The hotel isn’t too big, so you can easily walk everywhere without needing a golf cart.
The only downside I experienced was with one of the restaurant staff near the beach — I believe he was the restaurant manager, as he was dressed differently and older, with some gray hair. He wasn’t shouting or anything, just talking to the staff, but during his conversations, he used some very inappropriate and offensive words in Arabic. I guess he assumed all the guests were foreigners, but I’m Egyptian and understood everything. It happened twice — once during breakfast and once during lunch — and honestly, even non-Arabic-speaking guests might understand such words.
That being said, this didn’t ruin my experience at all. I still had a fantastic time and really appreciated details like the beautifully farsha Café , and the hotel’s accessibility for guests using wheelchairs — they really thought of everything.
The animation team was absolutely brilliant! Their shows were so entertaining, I felt like I was watching Arab’s Got Talent — they were that good.
The only major downside for me was the toilet. The lack of a spray and having only a bidet was very uncomfortable. As an Egyptian, I’m not used to that system, and I really...
