We went there with reasonable expectations for a lovely time relaxing, swimming and sunbathing and a little sightseeing. We stayed quite near to the restaurant in the older part of the complex. Negatives. Rooms are tired looking with things like some tiles missing on the walls. We left 4 £1 coins on the coffee table in the morning, the cleaner came for the first time since arrival (day 2) and obviously helped himself to the coins -I thought that our £1 coins would be useless to anyone out there, not so,. big lesson do not leave tempting items of value out in the open. Our tea, coffee was rarely replenished, however water was. Our A/C barely worked, reported it, man came but made little difference, had to go to reception then in middle of night as we were sweltering, A/C fixed. Not all reception staff speak good English. Sorry to say this but all guests non-Egyptian treated as second class we were often ignored with Egyptians pushing in and getting what they wanted first in the resort, the coffee shop, restaurant, shops in short everywhere. The shops on site at the hotel, one selling souvenirs, sweets, drinks, snacks, milk, tobacco operate a very slick trade, preying on tourists who have not been able to buy any Egyptian £ at all back home, but advised to use US $ or Sterling by the POffice we took both. The price in Egyptian for items in shop ( which are not priced) is not what you pay in sterling or dollars ie $4 for 2 ice creams, 6$ for 2ltr coke & tube of Pringles, they have a tray of foreign currency underneath the tray of Egyptian money, they pretend to work out the proper fair price on their calculators. As you can imagine with the strength of £ and $ it must gain them a huge profit. Evening entertainment 4/10. The pool and slides to the rear of our apartment was supervised by young men who played horrendously loud Arabic music from 10am to I think 4pm, with no break and always the same songs repeated over and over all day. Food was poor choices, little or no western dishes ( there were English, Italian, Ukrainian, Russian and perhaps Dutch guests), the majority were swimming in oil, braised liver was delicious, I lost weight over there not just due to bad stomach but I ate mainly roast chicken drumsticks/beef, pitta bread and rice and fruit of which there was a good supply. The inclusive drinks at the resort were in very small cups, any inclusive alcohol was rip off similar products, gin, vodka, rum, etc. no idea of strength or what was in them. Although I have a great deal of praise for how we were treated politely and helpfully in the restaurant by management & to extent the table clearers, it reminded me so much of Butlins. Their system of clearing glasses and plates from tables goes into overdrive, once you have food and drink one person must stay to make sure food and drinks are not removed by overeager workers who are chivvied quite a bit, it’s a struggle to get a cleaned table with cutlery in fact the tables are not cleaned over, the table runners when dirty with food are just flipped over. One stellar mention is needed, the Lifeguard of the Pool in front of the restaurant is dedicated to his work of keeping order in and around the pool ( people try to do daft things - kids and adults) , no belting music, kids not allowed to run around or do risky things in the water. So one afternoon a very young child accidentally plunged right under the water, and he was going to drown, this guy moved like lightening and saved the boy’s life, no doubts, and no parents or siblings near him - he could not swim without armbands, the boys father ( Egyptian) slapped him around the face quite hard whilst he was still sputtering and gasping for air, the lifeguard tried to shield the boy and had a go at the father. I’ve hardly seen anyone with such an expression of worry care and dedication as he went to save him. If you should happen to go to the spa for massages I can recommend Nancy she is a talented masseuse. One note of caution there is, you will be asked to leave any personal items behind the front desk which has a security camera, I would advise you don’t do this. Finally, it looks as if the Hotel has built on a lot of buildings, they have developed the beach ( you go through a tunnel from the resort and under the main road) it’s a shame to almost ruin such a beautiful shallow water fish haven, you can buy a snorkel and goggles to have a better look at their gorgeous colours,. However instead, they could do with updating and repairing the...

I had high expectations for Rehana Sharm Resort Water Park, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing due to the poor organization, lack of proper service, and what felt like unequal treatment.
First, we had to beg for toilet paper twice during our stay—something that should be a basic amenity. We paid for a double bed but were given two singles. Since we were traveling in a group and wanted to stay in the same building, we decided to stay in the room and requested the beds to be joined. It took three days for this to be done, and even then, the beds were joined improperly using only a bed cover, causing them to separate if we lay down. In contrast, the same request was fulfilled for our Caucasian friends without delay, which made us feel that being African might have affected the level of service we received.
The towels were never changed throughout our stay, which was unacceptable for a 4-star resort. At the reception, we were given only one card for the pool towels, and when I asked for a second card, a staff member (an older, short individual of more than average weight) shouted at me and demanded £20. However, the night shift staff eventually provided the card without issue.
When we requested a taxi to the airport (just 10 minutes away), this same individual tried to overcharge us £15 per person, even though the actual cost was much lower.
The only positive aspect was the hospitality of the buffet staff, who were kind and attentive. However, the food quality was below average, especially considering it is advertised as a 4-star resort.
Another major downside was the presence of 3-4 individuals constantly pushing activities inside the resort. Their approach was aggressive and disrespectful, ruining the relaxing atmosphere. I respect their work, but they should also respect the guests’ boundaries.
Overall, while the buffet staff did their best, the poor organisation , lack of basic services, subpar amenities, and what appeared to be discrimination based on race made this stay a big...
