Hotel Andoria — Hotel in San Salvador

This is a fine, clean hotel, that gives excellent value for money.

The room was clean, TV , Air Con, the bathroom was ok, with ckean towels, Head & Shoulders sachet.

There was no fridge. Maybe review this, as sweltering heat, and nowhere to keep drinks cold. An extra $1 a night should cover this investment by the hotel.

I arrivefed at 1 am, and Oliver was on duty. He was professional, friendly and helpful.

He insister on carrying my case upstairs, as there is no elevator.

In the morning, a fine breakfast, with plenty of options available. The lovely lady serving was smiling and friendly.

Located close to Metro Centre, with dozens of shops , cafes, and large suoermarket.

Major tourist landmarks are a short uber rideaway, priced $4_10 , depends on distance.

Uf you are happy with a clean, no frills , value for money, give this hotel high consideration. It is basic, but great value.

The Hotel Andoria in San Salvador, El Salvador has been a splendid little and safe hotel with Salvadorian character, several times for me. I travel regularly to El Salvador and always stay there after trying bigger franchised hotels. Depending of the time of the year you could see more families or more business people. The highlight of this hotel is the personnel at all levels that are very friendly and efficient. It is very affordable. The rooms and washrooms are comfortable and clean, breakfast is served with typical Salvadorian food and it is great; the cable TV package is well-chosen, has great air-conditioning and internet; as well as being wisely located close to Metro Centro, close to restaurants, shopping centres and all kind of transportation and highways. The room was adequate, pillows were flat, AC worked just fine. The shower didn't work at all no water, and you could hear everything happening in the hallway and down on the lobby. Concrete walls with no insulation. They are pet friendly and it was very interesting expensive, and it was clean, that's about all it has going for it. Was here for a friend's birthday and the stay was not of my choice. Would not chose this place...
