San Martin Bakery — Restaurant in San Salvador

Popped into this place in the middle of a shopping spree, having heard whispers about its stellar bakery. This time around, though, the Pasta Diavola alla Cobanera from the restaurant side caught my eye.

The sauce was this perfect blend of rich and creamy, packing just the right punch of spice to keep things interesting. The only hitch? The pasta itself veered a tad towards the overcooked side for my liking. But hey, in the grand scheme of things, it was a minor blip on an otherwise delightful dish.

The vibe of the place was pretty inviting, creating a nice backdrop for a lunch break. Service? On point. Friendly without being overbearing. As for the overall experience, it's not something I'd send a postcard about, but it made for a lovely pause in the day's retail therapy.

This is a really good place to eat, have a coffee, read or hang out with friends, sometimes it's really busy and have to wait to get a table but the food it's worth the wait. We went during rush hour so it was busy! However, we love to come here for food or just coffee and pastries. Place is always full but is because their food and service is great.
