I will start with the positive: the staff are lovely and friendly and I am sure they truly try their best.||However this guesthouse is a joke for the money they ask for a room. We stayed in Dec 2017 and the rooms were freezing (windows and doors don't close properly, very old conditions), the beds and rooms smelt damp and the showers were malfunctional, spraying water all over the place. I would be ok with all these things if the room as 20$ a night, but they charged us over 60$ a night for one double room (10$ extra for arriving earlier than check-in time) and over 75$ a night for a room with two beds! The breakfast was also quite poor, and of course no functioning wifi. Also, they charged us 15$ for an airport shuttle service that most hotels in Addis offer for free.||For a similar price for a room in Addis you can get very confortable, high-end hotels with buffet breakfasts and new, confortable beds. I spent a night in order to get to airport the next morning The toilet was blocked and flush was not working Toilet paper was wet and dried before I got there and wasn't given a new one considering I didn't know if it had fallen in the bowl On first appearances it seems it was worth £19 for the night but as I settled in I found the TV didn't work no WiFi to order food was dehydrated after a long travel no offer of water The infestation of bugs and mosquitoes kept me awake Management was no where to be seen when I was leaving I wouldn't recommend this as a guest house more of a hostel and the charge should reflect that and if I can get half of my money back I would as nothing offered on line was available to me And if you are wondering why my review is less favourable than most it's about what...

We stayed here for one night before traveling around in the country, and return after to stay another two nights. We were here at 24th of December, and had a little Christmas celebration of our own, and the staff put on some music for us without us asking, which was really nice. The rooms are clean, although some doorknobs missing, a light on the mirror not working and low pressure in the shower. But we managed to close the doors by locking them, taking some ekstra time in the shower to get all the soap off, and the light in the ceiling of the bathroom worked, so we saw just fine.
