Chalet Hotel Cocon Des Neiges - Ski Famille Les Bruyeres. — Hotel in Albertville

The chalet hotel should be fantastic. Unfortunately it was mediocre at best. Private hot tub was broken for the entire week - apparently this doesn’t attribute to a partial refund despite paying for a fully functioning hot tub not a broken one (not sure of the logic here but apparently this is the companies stance.) I can’t say it was much fun listening to everyone else enjoying their hot tub facilities whilst we sat in our room. Food was worse than my own - I’m a terrible cook. The low was when they fed spicy chicken nuggets to the kids… I’ll leave that to everyone’s imagination. Rooms are dark though spacious. Nice food, but rude staff, and prices are doubled in total bill, comparing to menu.

We ordered fondue with mushrooms, that can be served only for 2 people. The price in menu was 23 euro. How surprised we were, when waiter gave us bill. The total amount was 46 euro, 23 euro per person. BUT, It wasn't mentioned in the menu. The behavior of stuff was inappropriate and rude, they forced us to pay this double price. However in the menu it was not mentioned anywhere about this double prices. For example if you order 1 fondue, but at the table will be 6 people, you'll be payed 6 times for this dish

One of the rudest receptions we have ever had. After waiting 15mins for someone to take an order, we had to quiz 5 staff, all who said they can't take an order.
