Unfortunately the website where we booked this chalet, choose not to post my review on their website. Therefore I will post it here:
We loved our stay but expect basic luxury.
(Very) positive where: Location
Quality of the property (doors, floors, windows, etc).
Problems/annoyances we faced with our stay at Happyview (April 29th - May 6th 2023).
The communication with the property manager was poor. Whatsapp messages often remained unanswered.
Sleep quality was poor due to the beds being quite narrow, no air-conditioning combined with very warm duvets, heating cannot be adjusted per room (but per floor), to go to the toilet one has to go outside of the room.
The ugly plastic cover on the pool. Annoying to put on and off, and when off it partially blocked the view of the mountains.
The gym feels claustrophobic (only two small windows) and has no weights (dumbbells).
No proper music sound system in the living room (one Bluetooth speaker is provided).
Door of cinema has to stay open for fresh air.
Other minor things:
Children's bedroom directly borders living room.
Some items missing in kitchen.
Error in floor plan 5/5 on website (the couch does not exist).
Dirt-road to chalet a bit of a challenge
No rubbish containers at chalet (but on main road a few hundred meters away).
The checkout process: The dishwasher needs to be empty when checking out (means early breakfast), and all rubbish bins need to be empty (which means a drive to the main road (over the dirt-road) and back. Ceci n'est pas une note c'est juste une honte de mentir comme vous l'avez fait en me répondant 6 mois après , je n'ai jamais échanger avec vous et vous dites que le sujet est clos avec la venu d'un plombier chauffagiste qui est totalement faux ! Je ne comprend pas pourquoi vous inventer des choses , vous parler de jacuzzi , a quel moment j'ai évoquer un jacuzzi ? vous voulez que nous demandons a chaque personne du chalet de mettre son ressenti ???Contrairement a vous, Je suis rester juste et honnête dans mon post. Et pour info la piscine était recouverte puisque nous ne l'avons quasiment pas utilisé étant froide ! Après vous cherchez a vous défendre pour ne pas que la note vous atteigne! Vous croyez qu'avec la somme que nous avons payés on va s'amuser a mentir , on aurait de loin preferer que tout se passe bien !!!Je ne vais pas revenir sur chaque point avec les manquant du repas et vos soit disant cadeaux. C'est dommage vous gâcher le travail d'un propriétaire qui a mis du cœur et de l'argent et vous vous permettez de remettre en cause nos dires et surtout de mentir c'est ce qui est le plus choquant...
