Before we arrived at your hotel we were having a terrible day. My husband & I were trying to connect with a friend who had flown in from the USA and were unable to locate her or verify her plane had landed.
Your staff was EXTREMELY helpful in getting us settled and assisting in ways to locate our missing friend. They went above and beyond as organizers, therapists and we felt so lucky to have chosen your hotel because of our reception and the assistance they offered.
All through our visit they were always available to help with our problems, our desires and they were a delight to speak with, to learn more about the lovely Malakoff area in which you are located and other valuable information.
I feel just AWFUL because I asked them to write down their names and I cannot find the paper on which they gave me, but I will describe them so you hopefully can recognize them for going above and beyond in caring for their customers...something that is a true rarity these days.
A beautiful young, black haired French black woman, probably in her 20's. A beautiful, blond haired young French white woman, also probably in her 20's. A very tall, dark brown haired young French white man, again, probably in his 20's. They all primarily worked at the desk in reception.
These 3 employees of yours were so cheerful, helpful, engaging and fun to speak with and I think you need to give each of them a raise in their salary because they are exactly the kind of employees you need to remain a cut above other hotels.
We have stayed in many places around Paris and customer service is not what that city is best known for, especially for non french speaking visitors. It can be difficult to navigate in a foreign country and help from the place you are temporarily calling home can be vital to the success of ones trip. Plus, they spoke perfect english which was a bonus as only 1 of us is completely fluent in French. This allowed each of us to approach the staff and make inquiries instead of sending my husband each time it was necessary.
So to have such an unexpected and fabulous experience, thanks directly to these 3 individuals on your staff, turned our trip into something so special.
If you identify these people, please thank them again from all 3 of us for making our stay so relaxing, warm and wonderful.
That said, I will elaborate on a couple of other things...the room was a tight fit for 3 adults, but the bedding was very comfortable. If I had any complaint, it would be that 1 of our pillows was not as good, creating a pillow envy issue among 1 of us, lol.
The breakfast buffet was more than I expected for the price so that also was a pleasant surprise.
It is my hope to return several times a year and we will always book this hotel and hope to see them again!
In case you need to know, we stayed at the BnB Paris Malakoff Parc Exposition hotel on 2 Charles de Gaulle. Our stay was in a triple room and occurred 7 August, 2019 to 9 August, 2019. You should be able to identify the workers I described by who was on the shift at 15:00 onward when we arrived the 7th of August, although we encountered them many times through out our stay.
Thank you so much. We can't wait to see you all again!!!

The first night in the room was very cold and I could not sleep (-1 in Paris!!!). They checked the air and the next night I was better. I requested an extension of days in the hotel for work reasons. I never imagined what was going to happen. I had asked the reception several times if everything was OK and they had registered the extension of my stay, but no one warned me that I had to register again and that someone would enter my room without asking my permission. I came back from work and the situation was as follows: they had changed things in the room and the air was half cold again. I asked the reception desk for an explanation but they assured me that they had not moved anything. I started to feel sick. Another night colder than normal, where I woke up all the time. The next day, one of the recption staff came to disturb me, telling me that they had to do some air checks, just as I was getting ready to go to work. I told him to come by later.||At the end of the day, back at the hotel, my room was cold. During the night, it started snowing and I found myself shivering under the covers .||Today I have a fever of 38 and I have to go back to my house. I will use all the appropriate precautions, but I am exhausted. When I pointed out to the reception desk that I was sick from the cold, the girl told me there was nothing she could do, at most leave me in the hotel on that dirty little couch in the lobby, with the French window opening every 2 minutes and with her vacuuming, while I was tortured by the headache and fever and sore throat. It was inhuman behaviour and I would like to be reimbursed for this absurd experience, at least for the last two days where, through your fault, I fell ill. I register the sending of this e-mail for legal proof. I will never return to your hotel and your recepcionists are lousy people....
Read moreIt was a very unpleasant and bad experience in this hotel, i arrived with my wife & kids late at night, thankfully the reservation was still reserved, yet i had to pay an extra amount claimed to be a tax, we got to the room to be surprised with the small suffocating space, you have a bed with literally a foot space to move on the side, a table with a chair that cant even be used as it is so close to the bed, the kids bed are on an upper stair floor, with stairs so steep, if you mess one you are to be hospitalised. You have a window in a window, & if you want to open it you have to kiss your TV goodnight, as the window would cover 1/4 of the TV & if you don't pay attention, it would hit the TV hard. No kettle, no tissues, no trash bin, no cups, no minibar, no welcoming tea or coffee sachets and a very poor internet connection that keeps asking you to login every 5 minutes. All of this is somehow acceptable, but the cleanliness is not, the bathroom roof was full of mold, the seat was black as i can out a bet it never saw any cleaning materials, the duvat was stained with blood, i asked for a replacement to get another that was totally soaked in blood, & covered with a bed sheet, such a disgusting experience, we had to sleep uncovered. The staff is not at all helpful, from the minute of check in to the time of check out. None of them speaks English, I know it's France, but come on, it's a hotel, & English is the common language in hotels worldwide. I asked for an hour late on my check out & was granted my request, off course as i reached the hotel on 1245, i was not able to access my room for another 15 minutes as they have blocked my code & had to wait to a manager or so to open it so i would take my bags. I truly don't advise anyone to ever book or stay at this hotel. (Pictures below show what i am...
