We stayed for five nights. Our stay wasn't that bad except for one big thing. Our air conditioner unit did not work. We asked the front desk to fix it and they just gave us a portable fan. It was autumn time and the temperatures were mild, like 65 degress Fahrenheit, but my roommate wanted the air conditioning on. Since it was autumn time, the front desk person said nobody uses the air conditioners so they did not fix it. I believe they should have fixed it anyway, or given us a new room. Other than this problem, the hotel was okay and decent. The price could have been lower for what we got.

According to google here should be a swimming pool and a gym, but in real life here is nothing? I booked this hotel so I could relax a bit after a long day of working, but here is no accommodation at all. This hotel is too expensive for nothing? This hotel is really like ibis: it looks like a cheap hotel! The hotel is clean, but I will never return here again.

The Louvre Museum is an awe-inspiring testament to human creativity, history, and culture, offering a truly unforgettable experience for art lovers and casual visitors alike. Nestled in the heart of Paris, the museum itself is a masterpiece, with its iconic glass pyramid entrance juxtaposed against the grandeur of the former royal palace. From the moment you step inside, you’re swept into a vast labyrinth of galleries that span centuries and continents, housing over 35,000 works of art. The most famous, of course, is Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, and while the crowd around it can be intense, seeing her enigmatic smile in person is a rite of passage for any art enthusiast. But the Louvre is far more than just that single painting. The richness of its collection is staggering—whether you're gazing at the monumental Winged Victory of Samothrace, standing before the Venus de Milo, or marveling at the dramatic canvases of French Romanticism, the museum constantly surprises and captivates. Each wing of the Louvre unfolds like a different world: the ancient Egyptian artifacts transport you to a civilization thousands of years old, while the Islamic art wing showcases breathtaking tilework, calligraphy, and design. What truly makes the experience exceptional is how seamlessly the museum blends its immense scale with intimate moments—quiet corners where you can pause before a lesser-known masterpiece and feel as though you’ve discovered a hidden gem. The layout can be overwhelming, so first-time visitors might benefit from choosing a thematic route or guided tour, lest they get lost in the endless corridors. Despite its size, the Louvre maintains an incredible sense of curation; the lighting, spacing, and presentation of each artwork feel purposeful and respectful. Facilities are well-maintained, with cafes and rest areas offering welcome breaks during a long visit. Staff are helpful and security is professional yet unobtrusive, ensuring that the artwork is protected without hindering the visitor experience. Visiting during early mornings or late evenings often makes for a more peaceful experience, especially if you're hoping to linger in front of popular pieces. Ultimately, a trip to the Louvre is more than just a museum visit—it’s a cultural pilgrimage. It invites you to reflect not only on artistic genius but also on the evolution of human civilization itself. Whether you spend two hours or an entire day there, the Louvre leaves a deep impression that lingers long after you...

Tired, run down. Fixtures and fittings felt loose and wonky. ||I stayed on floor 7 rm 708. |FYI this has views down to the bin area.|At night the lights will be bright if anyone goes to the bins so make sure you fully shut any gaps in the curtains. |I stayed there from July 8 - July 11 2024. ||The phone didn’t work to call reception. |Few staff so queuing at reception (due to non working phone) was long. |Some staff very friendly and helpful but others looked and sounded like they didn’t want to be there. |I had planned to eat in the restaurant but changed my mind considering the smell of stagnant water in the lobby and dusty rooms. ||No ironing board provided when I asked to borrow an iron. |Cheap nasty thin toilet paper, which we had to ration as housekeeping didn’t provide extra despite being visibly low . |Complimentary bottle of water in fridge, don’t make the mistake of leaving it out on the side half used else housekeeping will throw it out. ||Water proof material protector was like a sheet of plastic. Not breathable, uncomfortable feeling through the sheets and made me feel sweaty during the night. ||Absolutely ripped off considering it’s meant to be a 4 start hotel.|Not a pleasant experience at all. ||It was useful to able to get Netflix...

My breakfast experience as someone who doesn’t eat animals. Day 1: various types of bread. Zero vegetables available. After 10 minutes wait they managed to bring out a salad looking thing. Promised to have something edible next day. I went to work hungry. Day 2: various types of bread. After 15 minutes wait I had to leave for work so hungry again until lunch. Catering manager wrote a letter stating they’ll surely make up for this for my last breakfast. He called my request as a ‘special diet’. I don’t think wishing to eat fairly healthily without carcasses on my plate is ‘special’, especially in a European capital city in 2022. Day 3: after 10 minutes wait they presented a big bowl of mushrooms to accompany the bread. I was more prepared this time around and brought hummus, radishes and an avocado. My advice is not to book a room here with breakfast included. Altogether it would have been a two star review. What made it one star is the ear blasting construction works next door. This will last at least another year or two here so best not to come anywhere here in 2022, 2023 or 2024. Unless you like never opening your window and having ear plugs in...
