The overall experience was great here. The staff was great at communicating in English which helped a lot. Location is perfect; you feel as if you are tucked away from the main city but in reality very close. The train station is half a block away from the hotel making trips to main attractions easy and convenient. Try the sushi place that is a couple blocks to the left of the hotel, (English speaking wait staff and great people), also stop at the pastry shop on the left, (ask for an almond croissant), and have espresso or chocolate chaud, (hot chocolate), either across the street or down on the corner. The room was very small but good for two. The Bathroom was tiny, (shower stall was like a phone booth), but functional. When we came in he noticed a stained extra blanket that had pieces of food still stuck to it, but the bed and room was cleaned daily and was clean. This is an area that is concerned a suburb of Paris, so lots of family's and couples. Very safe at night here. Remember to give the front desk your room key so that they may clean the room, and they close the office at 12:00 am, so if you are late ring the door bell and wait...
Read more✨ This hotel is discrete yet very convenient to stop by, as it is 5mn away from Line J station. The place itself is modern and the staff is nice. Wifi works good and its quiet as it is located in an alley, you will get a peaceful sleep guaranteed.
🥞 The breakfast buffet is small but quite tasty, with scrambled eggs and sausage for a good departure before your next stop. There was also an outside patio, which is covered so it's perfect for warm mornings to catch a bit of sun.
⚠️ I had to remove one star in service however. Here are the two points I wanted to point out :
(1) 🛅 I was requested to enter extra booking infos on their website to "speed up the process" but I found that it didn't really change anything when we arrived, it took as much time as the other hotel i went in. I think it was an extra process that wasn't beneficial to us, as it takes quite some time to do this. Plus, you need to enter your IDs to enter a guest on the form, not a lot of infos on the security of the website itself. (2) 🛀 Bathroom was not the cleanest : there was hair still present in the shower and some of the towels looks a bit stained...
Read moreThe reception clerk wasn’t wearing his mask, and he was a little rude. No welcome, no bonsoir, or anything of the kind. My booking on Priceline clearly said all taxes and fees included yet without explaining he told me to pay a fee (however small, 3 to 4 €) when I asked why, he vaguely told me it’s tax. Good location, a bit of noise from the trains but it didn’t bother me personally. A comforter in stead of a blanket would be appreciated, and also more hygienic.
Replying to every critic review doesn’t take away the critical opinions.
I can recommend it for a night or two, if the price is low.
After the hotels reply: 1.6€ is not what I payed, I stayed one night and payed close to 4€. In my opinion you don’t reply to the issue: no explanation or even saying what it is. And the rudeness of the clerk. Secondly you cannot suppose what I saw. Thirdly rules or not, in this period of time working in a hotel where the frequency of people is high wearing a mask is at the least a responsibility. You do reply but it doesn’t seem you ever recognise the critic, in stead you...
