Chamonix Lodge — Hotel in Bonneville

The good thing about this place is that-

1). You can cook your own food, induction, microwave, grills and utensils are available. You can clean your clothes too. Here washing machines are available. 2). You will get free breakfast here.. but you have to serve for yourself. You can take as much as you can and even in the day time you can take these things. 3). On the first floor, there is a common area. Where you can sit and read some books available in the book shelves. 4). You can watch TV, which is in the living room. 5). Here only one staff, I could get at few moments of the day... but she was very nice and helpful. Thanks. 6). This place is near charmonix sud within walking distance. So you can catch bus easily.

The bad thing about this place is-

1). Wifi signal is very weak in some places. You have to go to reception room on the ground floor for better signal 2). Bathrooms are very small and cleanliess is not up to expectations. 3). The locker is not available in all rooms but i think rooms are safe as at several places camera is placed. And rooms are secured by password protected gates. 4). Rooms...

Reasonable rates and basic clean accomodations. Low rating for a few reasons. The hot tub and sauna were both out of service for the 4 days of our stay, very disappointing when booking a place specifically that includes this for after a day of skiing. Also, not enough hot water, we had to go without showers some of the nights. Don't count on hot water from 7pm on, you might have it but maybe not. The kitchen is well set up for cooking, I really like the kitchen. The refrigerator had spoiled food in it, the staff should give more attention to this, one item had a date of Dec 28th and it is now Feb 1st, I took the lead to throw it away 🤢 and wash the bowl. A bit far from the bus stop, it appeared there is a stop at the end of the road but it is no longer there. Either catch the Mulet bus at the Hospital about 7min walk, sometimes timing is good sometimes it's just better to walk the 15min to town. Not the end of the world but the location is not the most convenient. I would give it 4 stars but the nonfunctional amenities are inexcusable, get the issues fixed.
