Big Mountain is a good addition to a very tourist heavy area. They have indoor and outdoor seating which is great because the inside is a bit small for the popularity it receives. Know there is no Wi-Fi here. However, there is really good pepperoni pizza! Pizza starts being cooked at 1700, not at 1500 when they first open. Seriously, the pepperoni pizza is as good as anything in Italy, but the other pizzas are forgettable. Same with the beer. You should just show up here for an amazing pizza outside with friends. If you do want beer, try the blonde or the sours. The IPAs, while most well known, are overrated from what I tried.

First off, the beer is amazing and the ambiance is really good. There was no wifi Wifi available. Here's where things go wrong. We ordered the pepperoni pizza that came with exactly three slices of pepperonis. But what I felt worst about, since we were not from there, that ours was the only pizza order that was delivered in a take away box. We felt that we were required to leave. Maybe it was a translation error, but it definitely didn't feel like it.

Best bar in Chamonix (that I've been to) great drinks with a good selection of draught beers on tap with good prices for them, also really nice atmosphere and staff, their pizzas are also really good and on Tuesdays they have a 2 for 1 deal which is truly the best value for money in Chamonix, there can be a little wait but it is to be expected as it is very busy on this day and most days but worth trying to get a seat in.

We had the best meal in all of Chamonix at Big Mountain Brew - it was so good, we went back twice!

On our first visit, we tried the Chevre à la Truffe (mushroom pizza with truffle oil), nachos, and a few drinks. Though food service starts at 5 pm, we arrived just before and the server kindly took our order early, delivering the food in no time! It was so good that we had to return for our final meal the next day. To our surprise, he remembered our preferences, that we don't eat pork. When we ordered the Poulet, a chicken pizza with sausage, he asked if we wanted it without the sausage.

Great ambiance, and the server is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended - don't miss out when you're...

What a disappointment. Came on Xmas eve when you would have thought they would have known they would be busy. Excited to try out the new place and new menus. They proudly displayed their full menu and gave it out to customers, after trying to order 3 things in a row we were successively told they had none of them. Out of 4 snack/starters one the menu they had one…..a bowl of fries with Parmesan for €12.00! Then they proceeded to say actually they only really had fries, pizzas and burgers despite the full menu on offer being much broader. Perhaps the head chef needs to learn how to manage their stock better. Not a great impression for a new flagship...
