I stayed here in January for one of the Improver/off piste courses that David organises. This was an excellent week, or would have been had I not had to go home early through a serious injury sustained on a blue slope!| |Chalet Pelerins is truly excellent, with amazing views up to Mont Blanc from the front of the property. It is very clean, well appointed in a Scandi style (thanks to Asa), and Dave, Asa, Poppy the dog, Lynsay the housekeeper, and the very quiet chef Jim, made me feel very welcome. The welcome drink on arrival was lovely. It is as lovely as the pictures and video on the website.||I was lucky enough to have a room to myself being a solo female traveller, with a shower and sink, but the toilet was shared with a neighbouring room. The chalet is across the road from Chamonix hospital which was very convenient, and is a short walk into town.||There is a hot tub outside, but I didn't get chance to sample this.||The views from the front of the property are truly amazing - you look straight upward toward the Mont...

There are 5 rooms all configurable as doubles or twins and a large lounge dining room with roaring fire. Bed and breakfast is available year round and during the ski season if Jim the chef is on offer I highly recommend him as part of the package. ||||The chalet is no more than 20 mins bus ride from any of the Chamonix ski resorts and the usual breakfast conversation is where will the best snow be today. For the more adventurous Italy is a short drive through the Mont Blanc tunnel and you immediately arrive at Courmayor which is also covered by your Chamonix ski pass.||||There is a drying room is in the basement and David will offer any help needed if you've bought your own kit and he also has excellent discount on hire kit...
